I heard an offhand comment on The Duran that NATO representatives were shocked at Biden's mental deterioration at the last. NATO summit late June, 2023.

Of course, I didn't expect to find any search results on DuckDuck. But I found the following rather intriguing:

US Vice President Harris dismisses Biden age concerns, but ready to be president

.

Of course there seems to be some confusion about that bc

Well, Kamala is "ready to take over" for the remainder of Biden's term, but I can't imagine the DNC credibly running her as candidate. Of course, I couldn' imagine the DNC running Biden* or Hillary* either. I'm sure they would love to run Obama, but that darn 22nd ammendment is in the way.

It might be somebody in the Obama camp. That's Camel Harris. But it should also be a 'rainmaker' ... somebody who brings in a lot of $$ to DNC coffers. And it definitely can't be a populist.

Would Michele Obama be too obvious?

Gonna go look at some of the more senior Senators and popular governors.

Newsome has been floated, but CA's Dem vote is pretty much locked in so he wouldn't being any swing voters to the race.

Dem governors who might bring in swing votes or $$. Swing votes and regional balancing might also make these good VP candidates.

Katie Hobbs (AZ)
Jared Polis (CO)
JB Pritzker (IL) ... now THERE's Mr Moneybagas, and he's part of Obama's Chicago machine
Wes Moore (MD)
Gretchen Whitmore (MI)
Phil Murphey (NJ, finance chair of the DNC)
Roy Cooper (NC)
Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM)
Gavin Newsome (CA)

There are more Dem governors but they're either from small states and/or states that reliably vote Dem. I tried to winnow the list to governors who are either in swign states or who bring in a lot of $$. The only reason to list Newsome is bc he was mentioned before and he so clearly wants the job.

I honestly don't see any situation where they don't run Michele Obama. I've heard that one floated around for YEARS now, and Leftoids are so stupid and easily manipulated they'd go for that in a second.

It doesn't matter that she has zero job qualifications. Everybody on both sides know that Barack would actually be the President again in that case.

Besides... Who else are they going to run? The only candidates in the Democratic party that are worth voting for have been labeled kooks or alt-right by their own propagandists in the media.

Gavin Newsom is the only other person I'd imagine they'd pick, but he's essentially America's version of Justin Trudeau and that one would backfire on them, IMO.

I'm not familiar with most of the people on that list, at least not enough to give any opinions on them, and in current year that's probably a good thing.

I've already spoke my piece on Newsom.

Gretchen Whitmore is cancer. I think that would be a bigger mistake for Democrats than running Gavin. Don't even get me started on Pritzker. That fat piece of human trash is the worst Governor that Illinois ever had.
