Hello,

It seems a website that seeks to parody/protest against Santorum has become more popular than the politician's own website. Now he wants the results cleaned up so that there is no prominent smear on his name. Such a demand is just one more reason not to elect this person. We should not vote for someone who would suppress free speech and attempt to clean up the internet to serve his own end.

Hello,

Google is reflecting the most popular search, a service its users desire. Now a political figure is asking the search results to be altered to bury this content and make it less visible. If he believes that this is appropriate and proper, one may reasonably be concerned about how he might want to reshuffle, organize, or partition away speech that he finds unacceptable should he obtain greater power and authority.

It's especially telling that this particular speech came about as a criticism of his policies. Hiding it would be no different from designating a free speech zone where the public is less likely to see an unsightly protest. In short, his strong desire to do so is a big red flag to anyone who values free speech.

Gee, poor guy, his trying to get it off the internet and the issue itself are apparently much more popular than he is!

Using Google, his campaign website is 22nd, after numerous stories such as the above. On both, however, the "news" of Santorum is the very first hit, about his remarks regarding the gay soldier being booed, blasting Perry on immigration, and other stuff regarding the debate.

The People Have Spoken. I almost feel sorry for the poor guy. Almost!

The quotes I posted came from the original article Anthony put up (which is why I didn't bother putting cites at the end of them). Reading it, I don't see how it could be misunderstood as coming from ME, rather than the original article. So I'm confused...? Or was that a joke...? Just got up, brain is still fuzzy, so maybe I'm missing something...
