Moveon.org, Organizing for America , and SEIU have been twittering today to go to Fox Poll and vote to ban the Flag .... and right now it is working.

SHOW THEM WHAT TRUE PATRIOTS BELIEVE!!! Let's flip those numbers and show the leftists we are organized and on the move....flip the numbers now-FLIP THE HOUSE in November!

From time to time, I get emails with wild political commentary. I seem to have wound up on email lists for both left and right extremes.

They're pissed, as usual, over the concept that freedom is an EVERYONE, or NO ONE, kind of deal.

They want it mandatory/legal to fly the stars and stripes, but anything else outlawed, same way they always want their own opinions codified into law and shoved on everyone else.

Basically the school said either allow all, or ban all - and they're tossing the usual anti-fair-play hissy, is all.

I note for the record that flying the Red Flag, or the Black Banner, has suffered many an effort to outlaw it here, and despite it being patently unconstitutional, many places still have laws on the books against it.

We had a recent issue over this with a returning Iraq vet being arrested in Oklahoma for flying a Gadsden over his home - Gus had some of his military buddies awaiting deployment march back and forth in front of the local lockup with a black banner, daring them to do anything about it, and the sherriff dropped the charges and chucked the poor sodder out the door about an hour later.

Anyhow, like always they want the ONLY flag in the air to be their own, their rights first and foremost, and damn everyone elses.

Allow all or ban all? Rad! Let's fly the Confederate flag. And Nazi flag, too! Otherwise, we're not being consistent.

EDIT: you know what burns my ass? Aside from an ass-high flame, its the way a certain political party has appropriated the flag, as if it is their exclusive domain, and as if they are the only patriots. I feel you, Frem, on the issues of those who demand respect, yet withhold it.
