Hello Kitty isn't technically *our* culture. You're right, and as I oppose assimilation, I hope they don't think of it. But the Iranians have several options and offers on the table. They'll really want to send it from not Iran, and they have no intention of striking first, but if Israel nukes them, someone will nuke Israel, perhaps under Iranian command, but not from Iran.

They would rather have their own than deal with Russia, who also makes demands, but you're correct that they have no shortage of them. If we look more seriously like we're going to invade, then they will announce that they have a nuke.

Earlier this year, Palestinian journalists in Gaza City told The Jerusalem Post that scenes of Palestinian children and women holding lit candles in the dark had been staged by Hamas and some Arab satellite TV stations.

I find that the Israelis have proven to be creative and effective combatants throughout their short history. I doubt they will find themselves massacred. Nor would I want them to be.

I do wish we would pull our support so that they would more keenly feel the price of not treating their adversaries as equals.
