Not seen this here yet, but apologies if someone with a subscription posted it earlier, but the new issue has a nice feature on the movies of 2005, which gives only one more than a box out (and a four page spread at that).

HERE BE SPOILERS.........

There is a reboot guys, but only a minor one. Joss has sent the crew back to a point they may have been passing, or about to pass in the series, because it helps the movie; but it makes sense in the context - Mal has regressed, because in the six months we are missing, people (we know who) have left the ship, and it hasn't gone well. He and Simon aren't getting on.

The western influence has been dampened, and there is a throwaway comment about Edmondson (praising his work, but I suspect that the opportunity to get Carter Burwell onboard was too much).

And, this quote from Morena about a meeting with the Reavers - god I want to see this movie - "we're standing here and we're just like, waiting for them and they're coming at us, and we're on set with like, a hundred of them, just coming at us... it was just us running for our lives"

By the way, Haken - SFX namechecks FFF for many of the behind the scenes pics (and whoever therefore got them) in this issue!
