HONORBOUND

So, I have this friend who has never really said anything bad about "Firefly", but then, he's never really raved either. He's seen a few of the episodes (although that was in the presence of small noisy children) and I have tried to loan him the discs to view at his leisure in peace and quiet to get the full greatness that is "Firefly". His excuse in refusing has been that I should bring them over some time so that he can see them and I can get away from my kids. (2 under the age of 2) He seems to think that I don't get out much any more. Well, to make a long story longer, he got a new plasma screen tv last weekend and I took disc 1 over to his place while the guys got it all set up. He has since watched disc 1 and of course enjoyed it immensely. When I e-mailed him today and suggested that I bring over disc 2 this evening while my husband is out with our oldest, here was his response...

"You could bring along the disc's other friends as
well.

I've seen the first disc start shaking now that he's all alone. It's going to need months of group therapy to get over its trama of being without its other disc friends."

HEE HEE!! Another definate convert for the books.

EMBERS

I had taped Firefly off TV when it first aired, and I enjoyed it...
but it was sooo much better on DVD...
however the idea of watching it on a nice shiny new plasma TV! THAT would really be nice!

no wonder your friend is hooked!
