Dragon*Con 2006 Goers!

It's been a while since I've been here, but I wanted to get some input from other loyal fans.

Over Labor Day, my husband and I will be at Dragon*Con in Atlanta. We own a small leatherworking business, and have plans to sell handmade lanyards (i.e. neck badge holders) to any diehard fans that want one. They'll be made of leather, with "The Browncoat Brigade" stamped on one side, and various Firefly/Serenity sayings on the other. We'd like to sell them for $10 each. It may seem like a lot, but they will be all leather, and handcrafted.

I'll be there. A lanyard may not be amiss. Also, a few other fellow eedjits from the Loafers' Nook and Floor Hidey Tree threads have pined for swell lanyards, so I'm thinking at least a small amount of guaranteed business. You have a table at the Con?

I have the non-handmade lanyards that you'll see walking around DragonCon. Brown with Browncoat, Firefly, Serenity on them. They go for $5. I will be having them again this year as well as some new items. If yours are shiny I'd probably buy one. Room enough for all Browncoat pretties!

No, we won't have a table. Just thought we'd give it a go, since there were soooo many fans there last year. The wait lines for the Q&A's were CRAZY!

To Noren, if you can make it down to Atlanta at any time, I highly recommend you go to DragonCon. Last year was the first Con ever for me. It was fun and overwhelming and crowded and....you get the picture. This year, it sprawls over 3 hotels, the Marriott Marquis, Hilton & Hyatt. And thanks for all of the support! Browncoats rule.

We'll work up a practice lanyard and post a pic here.
