Insiders, huh? They told Politico and CBS News, huh?

I'll tell you what. If Trump picked Nikki Haley for VP, I'm not voting for Trump.

Period.

So let's see what happens, shall we?

ETA: The same goes for JD Vance. You'd better not.

I think he's going to pick Tulsi Gabbard, the woman is fearless.

I like Tulsi, but I think she'd probably be more valuable in another high up cabinet position, rather than VP. I don't think she'd help his ticket at all because the overlap of people who would vote for Trump and people who like Tulsi is almost 100%, and unlike Democrats and Democrat voters, I don't think there are any children on board who are going to come out and vote for Trump simply because he picked a female for VP like when Biden* put one of the stupidest women in politics as his own VP just for IDPol points.

Personally, I'd love to see RFK Jr. get that position, although I'm not sure if he would accept it.

There are a lot of people that I hear should be VP that I think would be better if given some top positions and the ability to actually be able to do their jobs without being stonewalled on every move they make. What I really want to see is Trump letting Rand Paul put the screws to Fauci and Big Pharma after he's elected. Fauci belongs in prison for the rest of his life.

That's true. Most VP candidates would be better in Cabinet.

Who could Trump bring onboard as VP that would bring votes to his ticket? Hmmm....

I think RFK would be great for that... if he'd even consider it.

I recently read an article that said younger Trump voters want Tucker Carlson or Vivek Ramaswamy for VP. Those are both seriously stupid suggestions, and I hope that Trump isn't considering either of them.

Tucker is very useful right where he's at now, and Vivek could be useful in a number of cabinet positions. Either of them on Trump's ticket wouldn't bring in any new voters, and especially in the case of Carlson it might make more people go out and vote against Trump.

I feel the same way about Kari Lake as well. She'd probably just hurt Trump's bid. The position is probably quite a bit below her talents, but I'd love to see her as Trump's new Press Secretary. She is amazing at handling journalists. She'd be a household name after 4 years of getting so much coverage in that job that it would probably easily catapult her career wherever she wanted to go after Trump's 2nd term.

Maybe Joe Manchin? Even Kyrsten Sinema if for some reason Trump just felt he HAD to have a female in the VP spot. Neither of them would be yes-men for Trump, but they shouldn't cause him any problems either. And I think that it would help bring in any on-the-fence independent voters.

At one point, not so far back I used to think that Candice Owens would be a good fit. But she's become pretty polarizing as of late, even within the Republican party. I'm sure there would be a job for her in the cabinet, but I probably wouldn't want her in a position where she gets covered by the media every day.

What would be the point of "adding votes to his ticket" anyway?

Any sensible person already knows that Trump will get more votes from Citizen Voters in 2024 than anybody in history, beating the prior record he set in 2020.
But that doesn't matter. If he has 170 Million votes, then Lord Darth Obiden will just get 185 million ballots, anyhow.

Trump does need a VP, not like Abdicator Pence. Somebody who can read The Constitution, and understand the responsibilities and duties, unlike Abdicator Pence.

Also, America needs a VP who can lead the Nation. Trump is getting older, and his first time he didn;t really keep in shape very well. Although we can hope that he lives another 5 years, we cannot be left with another Pence or Christie type.

Hickey Nailey would not fit the bill.
Tulsi would be attractive to the Libertarian-leaning voters, but the Trump base would would fear her becoming President.

Tucker or Vivek would be good candidates, all around. Neither would seem to pussyfoot around their Constitutional duties, when America needs them.
Kari Lake would probably work almost as well.

Manchin or Sinema would be retarded choices - he might actually lose with them. He would alienate his base with such moronic picks.

Who would be the VP selection that would make me vote for Trump for the first time?
Sarah Palin, Scott Walker, Dr. Oz. But he won't pick them.
