You give an enemy its due respect. One reason to give some level of respect the islamic is if it is not destroyed it will be a constant enemy, they also weaponize their women turning them into breeding machines while many of the Western man hooked on video games and booze and other addictions and the Western Woman also a hedonist, wants to Party, Go Shopping and Abort her own Civilization?

Remember when people used to send our conspiracy nut 'Pirate News' Death threats for insulting the the British Government, Prince Andrew or Queen?

The joke these days is that the difference between a conspiracy theory in the truth is about six months.

While both funny and often true, I'd argue that there is a long range of topics where the difference is quite a bit shorter or longer than six months.

The longer we all live, the longer we all get to see just how many things they've been lying to us about all along.

My money is on the revelation that there isn't much we've ever been told in our lives about anything that is really true.

ETA:

Technology... Most specifically The Internet and Social Media, while turning out to be the most powerful tool of surveillance and thought control ever conceived in the history of mankind is a double-edged sword for the people who run everything.

But that is only temporary. And I would argue that it wasn't even a flaw in the originally drafted plan but a large and important part of it from the beginning.

I mean, honestly... Go back to 1992 and imagine telling people about all of the privacy and legal rights they would need to give up to get on AOL and send emails to each other. Imagine if the internet didn't see its first huge initial boom among young people (who are now old-ish people) if they weren't lured in by things like free music through Napster or free movies and shows from Limewire, when the alternative at the time was $22.99 for Nirvana's CD or $125 for a single season of X-Files on DVD.

Imagine Twitter and YouTube being launched and trying to get hundreds of millions of people to sign up for them with all of their personal information and signing of contracts that they never bother to read if they knew that their content and comments would be scrutinized quite heavily by a non-benevolent AI and that things they had said online 15 to 20 years ago could be dredged up by anyone with a grudge to ruin your life.

Nah.

This was all put into motion by people way smarter than any of us and it is all going exactly according to plan, just as it always was.

An almost incurable addiction has set in for the vast majority of adults who are old enough to remember what life used to be like before the internet.

Those of us who are so young that they had a smartphone thrown into their tiny hands the moment they were old enough to hold them never even stood a chance.

Social Media is not Technology. That's an App.

You're an idiot who is always looking for an argument with everybody, and you are incorrectly trying to make a distinction between hardware and software, while claiming that software is not technology.

Apps are software. Software IS technology.

Even somebody who publishes a work trying to make a clear distinction between the two fails to do so several times.

Difference between Software and Technology

1. Software :
Software, as name suggest, is simply a type or part of technology produced by people, allows user to perform particular task or process using computer or any technological device and is only referred to computers.

2. Technology :
Technology, as name suggests, is simply a type of tool produced by people that is used to solve specific problems, improve work, efficiency, etc. and aims at meeting human requirements.

And then, taken from the last part under Software for the table below this:

Quote:

Difference between Software and Technology :

It is a part or component of technology i.e. subset.

Even as a subset of Technology, software is still Technology.

Just as a Horse, being a subset of Mammals is still a Mammal.

But seriously. Good on you, JSF, for completely derailing another thread with your dumb shit.

It appears that nobody has told you that you are special today.

I'll be your huckleberry.

Apps are software.

Correct. Apps are Software. You are proclaiming there is no distinction between Hardware and Software? What a technologically illiterate tool you are.

Wrong. Words have meaning. Try looking up definitions. A quick check of interwebs definitions of Software resulted in no mention of technology on the whole results page. Since you are so technically challenged, try technopedia - they might set you straight.
Color me not surprised that new generations of know-nothings consider technology and Apps to be the same thing. Just like Freedom and Slavery are exactly the same.

Not at all. Software and Hardware are obviously different.

BOTH are Technology. You can't have one without the other.

There ARE machines that were made that used binary without software before computers came along (as well as some extremely niche applications to this day), but that is NOT what we're talking about now.

The world's most impressive super-computer is just a useless hunk of metal and plastic without software.

Yes. As explained above, twice now, you are wrong.

LOL.

You're going to pretend to know more about tech than I do?

This should be fun.

Let's see where this goes, shall we?

The super computer is the technology, the hardware.

What that tech is used for is the App, the software.

The Software does not change the hardware, the tech that the software utilizes. The hardware, the technology, does define how the software can and will work or not work.

The technology can host various different software Apps, but the software cannot alter the hardware or technology to suit the needs of the software.

Find a real dictionary which defines software as technology - not some clueless millennial Fake Definition source.

Yeah. So. NONE OF THAT MATTERS IN YOUR ARGUMENT.

You are picking a REALLY stupid hill to die on here. Not just because you're so obviously wrong, but because it's such a stupid, stupid thing to get into an argument about.

Sorry for derailing your thread, Jaynez.

Information Technology IS NOT TECHNOLOGY. Ministry of Truth has nothing to do with Truth. Hard to believe you are this dense.

Obviously such a complete failure of definition is not a valid dictionary, why they don't bother to claim they are a dictionary.
