When I first read Trump's The Art of the Deal, I saw Trump as a crook while unsuccessful people saw him as a great businessman. Thirty-six years have passed since that book was published and each year Trump has shown that he is more crooked than the previous year, but unsuccessful people are still unable to see it. What I DO know is that there was NO "insurrection".

Remember this?

Historic St John Church burned by rioters in DC.

That DIDN'T happen on Jan 6. That was part of the "BLM/ Antifa/ defund the police" riots that happened across the nation after "St George Floyd" died, where police stations were burned with police inside, rioters attacked police and others with fireworks, Molotov cocktails, bricks, rocks, and occasionally with motor vehicles.

By contrast, the vast majority of protesters, including those ESCORTED INTO THE CAPITOL BUILDING BY POLICE, were peaceful. The hours and hours of footage finally released to the public show an entirely different story than TV "news" snippets. It's like the "Covington kids assault revered Native elder" ten-second video, when the ten minutes leading up to it tell the opposite story.

An insurrection means attempting to overthrow the government through violent means. You wpuld need weapons. Tactical planning. Communications. "Yiu take the capital buolding and we'llhold the police off. Snipers will be stationed here, here, and here. Assualt forces here."

NKTHING LIKE THAT HAPPENED. No shots were fired by the protesters. No guns were carried. There was no coordination. It was a protest that- for some people- got out of hand. A window was broken. A few minor items were taken. People trespassed ... for many, they were escorted and allowed into the building by police. People should be charged for what they did: breaking a window. Trespass. Petty theft. Mostly, they did nothjng at all except stand on the capitol steps and wave American flags.

The concept of insurrection is a fiction that you're stupid enough to believe, and that everyone except you sees right thru.

And AFA Trump being kicked off the ballot for "insurrection" - he has NEVER been indicted, much less charged or convicted.

WHY?

BC Federal prosecutors know there is no "there" there. To punish him for a crime that never happened is unconstitutional in the extreme. Due process is required- something you're against!

EVERY candidate, indeed EVERY CITIZEN, has the right to question an election. Every citizen has the right to peacefully protest. It's called free speech- something else you're against!

According to the reporting, which has not been independently verified by MSNBC or NBC News, by the time of the Jan. 6 violence, Krvaric had already “built a public persona as an up-and-coming student GOP leader.” His name was also “used to create an identity” on a site for white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
But also of interest was the apparent fact that Krvaric — if he is the man seen in the footage — was working for the White House’s Office of Personnel Management in early 2021. Or as USA Today’s report put it, he would be “the first full-time employee of the Trump administration identified entering the Capitol in the insurrection.”

He was, of course, offered an opportunity to respond. It led to this rather extraordinary paragraph:
