Funny How Fox Never Mentions That the Alleged FBI-Steele Conspiracy Can Be Traced Back to One of the GOP’s Biggest Donors

The Free Beacon (which, for the record, appears to have stopped paying Fusion before the research firm brought on Christopher Steele) is in turn “largely funded” by hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer, a prolific conservative donor who supported Marco Rubio in the 2016 primary but would then go on to donate $1 million to Trump’s inaugural committee. The person who first got the ball rolling on the alleged conspiracy of lies to destroy Donald Trump is a Republican who has donated to Donald Trump.

The GOP’s FBI Conspiracy Theory Just Got Even Dumber

Congressional Republicans have uncovered a scandal that’s “worse the Watergate,” a threat to “rule of law” in the United States, and “very, very sad for democracy.”

It also happens to be an unhinged conspiracy theory that boasts less internal coherence than Alex Jones’s reflections on the government’s responsibility for the growing prevalence of hermaphroditic, homosexual frogs.

Aww, I've made dumbass mad.

You know it's my personal experience that people who are criminals don't like the FBI...

Oh look, here's one now!

Giovanni Gambino (left) an heir to the Gambino crime family has called the FBI and and its former director, James Comey (left), 'weasels' who 'abuse their power' after the release of a once-classified memo.

Gambinos don't like FBI, Chump no like FBI...

Wait...how long WERE you in jail for??

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Disband the GOP and the Trump administration, by any means necessary.

It's abundantly clear that nothing in this latest horseshit show of desperation has any credence. "Oh noes - it's all because of Steele's dossier! And it was paid for by Dems!"

Ummmm... the U.S. surveillance of Carter Page started years ago, and was well known and well reported even before that fucking numbnuts Trump named him as one of his top foreign relations guys (even though now he claims not to know him. Or Popadopoulos, his "coffee boy" - or was it "covfefe boy"?); oh, and the Steele dossier was initially sanctioned by Republicans doing oppo research on Trump. And not one word of it has ever been proven inaccurate.

The only people who believe in Trump today are idiots and dead-enders like Rappy and JSF, but they also believe Nixon never did anything wrong, so take that for what it's worth.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

One side being bad doesn't make the other side good. That should be easily apparent.

The FBI has a long and sordid history of being the place where you get dirty things done. It's been used that way by whoever is holding its reins at the moment. J Edgar was a great example of an out-of-control leader, answerable to no one.

But for some specifics, here's a brief history of the highlights (and low-lifes). Click on the links within. You might find them illuminating. https://www.aclu.org/other/more-about-fbi-spying

HAS IT NOT OCCURRED TO YOU BY NOW THAT IF YOU HAVE TO RESORT TO LOGICAL FALLACIES AND TROLLING YOUR SO-CALLED ARGUMENTS ARE LIES?

1. Boston. According to reports, the FBI and U.S. law enforcement were sent, via Russia, a warning about bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The FBI allegedly interviewed the suspect and let him go, even opting against investigating him later after a second warning swept through the department from Russian officials. The bombing left three dead and 16 injured.
2. Fort Hood. In a string of emails sent to the FBI, soldier Nidal Hasan openly admitted that he wanted his fellow soldiers dead in order to protect the Taliban. Officials failed to intervene, leading to a tragedy that resulted in the death of 31 Americans.
3. NYC Bomber. Third on this list is NYC bomber Ahmad Khan Rahami, whose own father alerted officials of the radicalization of his son. After a brief interview, Rahami was cleared by FBI officials, though he eventually injured 31 people between New Jersey and New York.
4. Pulse Nightclub. In yet another attack on American soil, 49 people were killed and another 53 wounded after Omar Mateen opened fire through its doors. Despite a 10-month investigation of the would-be shooter — during which he admitted to lying to officials — the FBI decided against taking further action.
5. Garland, Texas. In a recent report from CBS, the FBI had an undercover agent traveling with Islamists Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi for intel on a pending attack during a “Draw Muhammad” event in Garland, Texas. Not only did officials know of a pending attack, but have refused to comment on why their agent didn’t intervene when the attack took place. Though a security officer was shot, the attackers were killed before they could harm any others.
7. 9/11. In a report by FBI agent Coleen Rowley, allegations were made stating that the FBI mishandled leads within its Minneapolis office during the investigation into the alleged 9/11 mastermind Zacarias Moussaoui. Rowley chronicles the early aftermath of the attack on the Twin Towers as she and other agents scoured through pre-attack events concerning Moussaoui’s investigation.

So why throw the baby out with the bathwater?

I worked in government for many years. Through four CEOs and many Directors. Most of the people I worked with were honest, hard-working staffers who tried to do a good professional/engineering/scientific job. They say that changing the leadership doesn't make a difference to "corporate culture" (or, in this case, bureaucratic culture) but it does. Once a crooked CEO was booted out, people were free to do a better job.

Interstate crimes ... real, actual crimes like cyberfraud, for example... can only be investigated by an interstate agency. Can you imagine (say) the city of Memphis trying to tackle Visa credit card cyberfraud, in every bank and router in every city and county in the USA? Local and and state police don't have jurisdiction. They can't enforce local laws outside of their locality. Interstate crimes need an interstate police force. There's a reason, unfortunately, for the FBI's existence.

Same with the Justice Department. What could states attorney general do about monopolies tht span the USA? The monopolies could use their economic power to play states off against each other.

I'm not seeing how local or state enforcement could handle interstate crime.

I don't recall the FBI ever being presented as a "temporary" solution. There was a time when the FBI didn't have permanent staff, but there were federal investigators - either contracted private investigators or borrowed from other agencies - performing FBI functions and reporting to the DOJ.

Yanno, some people seem all fired up not to "defund the police", but "disband the FBI" seems to be just a different version of defunding the police. And once upon a time, local PDs were as corrupt as the FBI, even more so. Beating confessions out of suspects, for example. Racially-motivated arrests. There are STILL problems in many PDs. But there have been strenuous and continuing reforms to policing that have mitigated many of these problems, The answer wasn't "defund the police" but "reform the police". It's a job that requires continuing attention and effort. Same, I think, with the FBI.

Do you denounce russia's operating practices being almost completely corrupt under a corrupt regime, because I surely do?

Are you willing to admit russia does not follow any form of the rule of law, because I surely do.

Will you admit that russia is a predatory nation-state, because I surly will.

By the way, have you visited my thread titled, " Another Putin Disaster?" This is just to easy because you're just to fucking stupid.

63% Of Americans Want FBI 'Censorship' Of Twitter Investigated: Poll

witter-investigated-poll

1) Only 63 pct?
2) 22 pct are against an investigation. Well, now we know how many ppl are against the First Amendment. Maybe they should be deported to someplace more to their liking. Russia, perhaps.
3) 15 pct aren't sure. Really???
4) It probably won't happen to the degree necessary. We need another Church Committee. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Committee
5) Even if some sort of investigation takes place, nothing will be meaningfully reformed.

Did FBI serial paedophiles collect the fingerprints of unvaccinated New York City teachers?

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2023/02/did_the_fbi_collect_the_f
ingerprints_of_unvaccinated_nyc_teachers.html

One year ago, New York City fired over 1,430 city employees who refused to take the COVID vaccine. Several of those workers filed a class action lawsuit against the City. During that lawsuit, the teachers’ attorney introduced a sword deposition stating that, when teachers refused the vaccination, the city flagged them as “problems” and handed their fingerprints over to both the FBI and the New York criminal justice system.

Michael Kane, the named plaintiff in Kane v. DeBlasio, has written a post revealing how New York City tried to criminalize teachers who refused to comply with the demand that they take injections of an experimental agent that’s now proving to have been extremely dangerous. He explains that, during a hearing on February 8, the attorney defending New York City “stated that educators fired for declining covid vaccination were not removed for misconduct, but rather for not meeting requirement for employment.”

The plaintiffs’ attorney, John Bursch, countered by pointing to the sworn Declaration of Betsy Combier, attesting to the fact that the City gave the fingerprints of these same teachers to the FBI and New York criminal justice system—an action indicating that the city viewed the teachers as criminal, rather than simply failing to meet a “requirement for employment.” Here’s what Combier, a paralegal specialist who worked for the United Federation of Teachers (“UFT”), stated under oath regarding the city’s actions vis-à-vis the FBI and the New York criminal justice system:
