I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

One of our evolutionary drives is to "move on". When the stream runs dry, the hunting fails, or the crops rot, we go somewhere else.

Now the earth is filled up. There is no place "else" to go. The thought of meaningful numbers leaving earth is not science fiction, its a fantasy. We need to treat our earth and each space in it, as if it was the island that it is.

Fix it where you are.

*Wish sits and looks at the bag of Coke caps left over from when the kiddo's school collected them....Must be at least 2000 in there...
Collected from just a couple weeks use in ONE unit in ONE mine...

And then I pull out the drawer and see at least 30 left over pill bottles full of environmental toxins that have been digested and urinated into the water....

And then I walk into the kitchen and see 50 packages of food, enough to maybe make it through a week or two, and since there is NO recycling other than heavy duty cardboard here, I know it will all go to a landfill.. somewhere....

Do you have ANY idea the massive brain wipes you'd need to reprogram people that they don't NEED to buy 120 lbs of junk with wrapping for Christmas alone? Have you ever even NOTICED the piles of SHHHHHHIT on the curb after?

Not to mention trees, pumpkins, trillions of candy wrappers for Easter....and that's just ONE religion.
We all know you can't change a religion without a holy war...

And I think...yeah, I'll get right on that.

Do you have ANY idea the scale that we have already fucked this planet?

TOXIC air in Cali, India, China, and a hundred places in between....

It feels good to say "clean up what you can" but it is ultimately NONPRODUCTIVE.

Mankind would have to be culled to maybe 10% of the current population and then aggressively and forcibly re-educated to make any real change. And then we'd have to eliminate those who would need prescription intervention.

And even if that doesn't happen we might frack this planet into meltdown or be blown to bits by an asteroid....

Everything you do, including NOTHING will be the wrong thing to do.

Futility 101 people. Learn it, live it, embrace it....
