Coldest July 16th in Atlanta since 1965. It was 62 degrees , and some outlying areas recorded temps in the upper 50's.

Must be all that Co2 in the air!

Yeah, but what was the temperature INSIDE your home and in your armpits? You gotsta cipher that sort of info into your climate model or you're not being scientificky.

Romney is a lot of things, but above all, he'd have been the single best person to put in the WH to restore this nation's economy.

If you look at the incomes' of the Romney types you will see the economy was doing just fine, and that a lot of what is going on is a smaller share going to the worker. Let's not forget the worker also has to do more to get what he/she gets now.

The statistics are in and what is happening is those who control the incomes of others are not sharing while demanding they should pay less and less in taxes.

A good analogy to understand the cooler temps is to think of the vortex as a chain-linked fence containing frigid air at high altitudes around the North Pole (and South Pole), with dogs running around inside of it. When a dog finds a weakness in the fence and escapes and dashes off to the south, that’s when we have these cold air outbreaks or “so-called” polar vortex events in the mid-latitudes.

Sorry but science has a reason for the cooler temps that suits most of us just fine. At least those of us who are interested in what's really going on.

Oh, yeah - he'd get the economy ON FIRE! all right!

This is in reference to Rappy's infamous statement sometime in early 2008 (IIRC) that the economy was ON FIRE! even as others (myself included) were arguing that the economy was going to take a major dump. Rappy knows nothing about economics, as he's amply demonstrated over and over again.

His mind is made up; don't confuse him with facts.

November 2007. Right after the first budget from the Rock The Vote Democraps overtook the House (Jan 2007, starting their FY08 Budget, which began in October). Yep, the Democraps campaigned on how they wanted to destroy the economy and GDP, and they succeeded - but hey, let's blame that on Bush, OK?

Pathological Liar, A pathological liar is usually defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. Pathological lying is often viewed as a coping mechanism developed in early childhood and it is often associated with some other type of mental health disorder.

In a thread about the phony AGW crisis, Chrissy has to cherry pick and rewrite history to some how claim that Bush caused the stock market crash, when it was 2 years after the Dems took control of the House.

Amazing. So utterly wrong about 1 topic, he's compelled to search back 7 years ( shows what little life he must have ) to try to find a 'win'.

Soon to come.. ' Bush lied us into war ' and ' Gore really did win the 2000 election '

NOAA Quietly Changes Warmest Year Back to 1936 Without Comment`
Attempting to promulgate the theory of global warming, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) claimed that the year 2012 was the “hottest” year on record. This toppled the previous records set in 1936. But after being called on the false statistics, without saying a word about the change, NOAA very quietly returned 1936 to leader status.

I must amend my prior post, where ATL had the coldest July 16 in nearly 50 years. A record actually WAS set, and now it was the coldest low recorded on that date here in history!

Brrr!!

And the following days have been a pure blissful coolness. Low humidity, then lots of cloud cover, followed by some rain, but still very cool temps. It feels more like mid Fall than mid Summer.

You're so lucky! Enjoy it while it lasts. Here in So. Fla. it's been nothing but very hot and very humid. Even at night it's still 85. My ac's working harder than James Brown in concert. I think I remember we had some cool days back in March, but I can't remember what that even felt like.

Hey, wait a minute - I missed this while I was wading through all the other lies and falsehoods in other threads.
Announcement: I have found a correction that could be made to a RapKnight post (albeit quite minor).
Rock the Vote election was November 2006.
New libtard House sworn in January 2007. They start work on destroying the economy with the FY08 Budget.
FY08 Budget takes effect October 2007.
Peaks of the market Indices occur that month, ending their climb (around 14,000 DJIA).
Onset of Bear Market is confirmed end of January 2008. (DJIA drops below 11,900)
Bear continues until August, when a brief respite happens when Sarah Palin is selected. Then it hovers while McCain insists upon losing, until the election.
Election of Obamination hammers it, and his campaigning to destroy the economy drive it down until 9 March, 2009.

So, RapKnight says the Rock The Vote Recession occurred 2 years after the election, when it spanned from 1 year after to 2.5 years after. So, although 2 years was within that span, it could be stated as inaccurate.

Just trying to be fair.
But, on the other hand, Blame Bush has no accuracy at all - never had, never will.
