Watch this video where Anti abortionist campaigner gets asked the vital question that he has never, ever considered.

Why do women seek abotions?

I'd have to look at it from a woman's view. I've never done that before.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Magons I would love to watch it but it doesn't work.

Well, that was absolutely par for the course coming from a medieval mindset, as it is.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

OONJERAH - We are too dumb to live and smart enough to wipe ourselves out.

It's the question that is so often missing in this foolish debate. Or its answered by stereotypes and prejudice. Heartless teenage 'sluts' who can't keep their legs closed. Or rape victims. Instead of 'hey, you know that work collegue that you get along really well with, the smart one. Well, she had an abortion.'

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

I always assumed my husband would be against me having an abortion but last year he said "Well, if you do ever have one I don't wanna know about it"
Thanks, hon. Mature of you... You have fun, and I get to pay for it alone....

Well, he's sterile now, and not that that is a guarantee, but if I ever did get pregnant again, I most likely would have an abortion (something I never thought I'd say) but I'm totally in no condition to ever carry and raise another kid... (oh, and NOW I'm on high BP meds too, so add that to the list.)

Just a reminder not every woman having an abortion is promiscuous.

Yes, Gosnell personally performed every abortion in the US, which makes him a stellar example of the norm.

Right on.

But its easy to stigmatise abortion if you paint a picture of young, promiscuous, ignorant women rather than say married women with health problems, or women who have had families but fallen pregnant unexpectantly.

I had an ectopic pregnancy. I suppose according to some I would be expected to attempt to bring that child to term, as I slowly (or quickly who knows) died from infection or internal damage.

I like how this reads as if one was a direct cause of the other. Because.. just wow. Talk about shirking responsibility.

His whole family does that. They think and act one way and will even tack on a few "God's will" comments and be all holy, but when something actually DOES happen like that, that is in their best interests they don't mind pretending it never happened...

Makes me wonder if being a hypocrite IS genetic...\

And Magons, if you skim through todays news you will see one idiot woman who ate nothing but bananas calling other pregnant women who gain weight "wales", the Barbie chick saying interracial couples make ugly babies, people who think everyone has the capability to grow all their own food, hand wash their own clothes, ride a bike to work, have self control over food choices, have natural labor alone with just a string and a kitchen knife (because it's LIFE AFFIRMING )

It's sooo hard not to second guess yourself. It really IS hard to ignore people who think that because their body works a certain way that EVERYONE on the other end of a computer MUST work the same way, that their life works the same way. You have to drown out your own neurotic voices and then SHUT THEM OFF. Most days I win. Occasionally I don't.

You did what you had to do, unquestionably. I know what happens when you don't, and it's horrific. I don't think I would ever even entertain the notion that it wasn't necessary, but the brain plays all kinds of tricks on a person, don't it??
Sorry you got put in that situation....
