One in the same Baby.......(ass-smack*)

I apologize in advance for the minutes of your life and likely millions of brain-cells you've lost since you clicked on the link....

Then again, it's all about SOTF. Didn't you people carry the torch for Darwin and his feelings since the Wiccans started throwing spears at helpless catfish?

Paul's written some of the most awesome songs ever.

That was not one of them...

Haha! Yes. I don't know if it's true, but I've actually heard that Paul apologized to everyone for that particular piece of crap.

I almost made it out of work this morning without hearing it, but only 13 minutes before the end of shift, what comes on? GRRRRRRRRRRRR....

Did he write any good post-Beatles stuff? I'm really only familiar with a few of his Wings-Solo works. Hey Jude is only memorable because it was played so often on classic/oldies stations when I was growing up. It's not bad, but it's not great.

"Wonderful Christmas Time" is the worst Christmas song ever, but it's not the worst song ever. That dubious honor, in my opinion, also goes to Paul for "Silly Love Songs".....

I'd actually love to believe that he had any post-Beatles songs worth listening to. I think it's such a shame. He's got a great voice, even today, and he's just such a charismatic guy.

On the reverse end of the spectrum, I feel that Lennon's "War is Over" is just about the best Christmas song ever performed, and "Imagine" is one of my overall favorite songs of all time. I even love Harrison's "Got My Mind Set on You" and "My Sweet Lord". I just got to thinking that Paul was NOT the talent of the group. Maybe I'm wrong...

Wow... just heard this for the first time:

Simon and G.....eorge.... Circa 1976, Saturday Night Live. Pretty sweet!

And after the show, I heard that Paul Simon and George had a little joy ride in the shaggin-wagon and the cops had trouble pulling them over.

Cop: "Pull-Over! Pull-Over!"
Paul: "No, it's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing!"

DRAMATIZATION:
