Your fifteen minutes are up, Sarah. Hop on your broom and fly back to Wasila!

Fox News Dumps Sarah Palin and Cancels All of Her Interviews

Quote:

Sarah Palin has taken to Facebook to complain that Fox News has canceled all of her scheduled interviews during their coverage of the Republican Convention.

Palin took to her Facebook bunker to tell the world what nobody cared enough to notice, “I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight. Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain. Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend.”

Fox News VP of Programming Bill Shine gave Palin the big blow off, “Our plans changed based on the fact that the RNC condensed the schedule of speeches from four nights to three. We look forward to having Governor Palin back as soon as we can.”

By as soon as he can, he means Sarah Palin won’t see any airtime until after the Republican Convention. Sarah Palin is now officially unwelcome in the Republican Party, and I’ll give you three guesses who got her booted off of Fox News.

Here’s a hint. His name rhymes with Ditt Lomney. When the Romney people made sure that Sarah Palin wasn’t invited to the Republicans’ party, the message was clearly sent that Romney blames Palin for the Republican defeat in 2008. They see the polls. The Romney folks know that she is toxic to the very women and Independent voters that they are unsuccessfully trying to court.

Sarah Palin isn’t the only reason that John McCain lost in 2008, but you can be sure that she will be banished to Republican Siberia if Romney wins in November. Palin better hope that Obama gets reelected because if he doesn’t it is easy to see Romney pushing her into total obscurity.

The joke of it all is that Romney is much less popular than Palin was at the same time in 2008 campaign. Romney has replaced Palin as America’s least liked politician. Romney’s disastrous trip to London drew comparisons to Sarah Palin, so it easy to see why the Republican nominee doesn’t want to remind voters of just how Palinesque he can be.

As for Palin herself, as you can see by her Facebook rant, she is still stuck in 2008. Palin can’t stop blaming the “liberal media” for her downfall. She has become a pathetic figure. In four years, she has morphed from candidate for the vice presidency to bitter Facebook troll.

Sarah Palin has sunk so low that she can’t even get airtime from the network that pays her during the Republican Convention.

Skid Row Sarah has truly hit rock bottom.

Hey, I'm not the one who canceled all her interviews. You'll have to talk to your lords and masters at FauxNews about who hates her.

You posted the thread, not FOX.

Thus, you really do hate her.

As for FOX ? Who knows ? Who cares ? Convention's over, ain't it ? I wasn't even aware she was ON FOX in the first place. Sarah says FOX cancelled her , I'll take her word for it. I care not.

So anyone who posts anything critical of another person is deemed by you to "hate" that person?

Am I reading that right?

Uhh, I believe, given the facts, that it has to be ROMNEY who "hates" Palin, if anyone: "When the Romney people made sure that Sarah Palin wasn’t invited to the Republicans’ party..."

When did amusement and disdain suddenly become "hate"? Must be after all their lauding of her and promises that she would win the election for McCain, and how she was the biggest thing since sliced bread, she turned out to be exactly the opposite, that our snarking about her and yes, dislike of her, became "hate".

The problem here is that whatever Raptor puts up reflects who HE hates, so the only way he can view others' posts is that THEY must hate whoever they post about. Reflection of Raptor only, and has nothing to do with the fact that others saw her as a joke way back when the Republicans were drooling over her and kissing her boots. Must sting to see how she's now reviled by the majority of the party now, and that she contributed to LOSING the election for McCain. My sympathies go out to them.

I guess I should refrain from saying "We told you so", but I can't. Tho' I wouldn't go so far as some here who cheerfully announce "I laugh at your tears".

Yup, I don't *hate" Palin; I find her an amusing distraction. So apparently does the rest of the world, except Rappy, who still seems to be in love with her.

I was glad to see Julianne Moore get an Emmy nomination for playing Sarah in "Game Change"; she really nailed that role, and there wasn't a moment in the movie where I thought, "Oh, look - there's Julianne Moore." She WAS Mrs. Palin in that flick. And it was damned entertaining, too. The screenplay was written by Danny Strong, who Buffy fans will remember as Jonathan.

Now that Sarah's outlived her usefulness to the party, she's been tossed aside, and they'd like her to be forgotten. Rappy has already forgotten that she was ever on FauxNews, it seems!

Wow, Jonathan, eh? Of course I remember him. Interesting.

Okay, I guess I'll have to give in and watch Game Change. Been avoiding it, as I figured it would piss me off more than I'd enjoy it, but now you've made me curious.

Well, according to their own party platform, as a woman - she needs to sit down, shut up, and get back in the kitchen like a good little bimbo and incubate some babies while she's at it.

She joined the party, she supported it, ergo she has zero right to bitch.

You don the jackboot, when it kicks YOU, I don't have a lot of sympathy.
