Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Apparently he's another one that fell through the cracks. There are too many "cracks" in the system which could have prevented some of these things, which is a shame. I'll bet she's kicking the hell out of herself now, or at least I hope she is, rather than just rationalizing "it wasn't my problem".

The psychiatrist treating the accused Colorado movie theater gunman was so concerned about his behavior that she mentioned it to her colleagues, saying he could potentially be a danger to others, CNN affiliate KMGH reported Wednesday, citing sources with knowledge of the investigation.

The psychiatrist's concerns surfaced in early June, nearly six weeks before the July 20 killings inside a movie theater in Aurora, sources told the Denver station.

A court document filed Friday revealed Holmes was a patient of University of Colorado psychiatrist Lynne Fenton before the attack.

Sources told KMGH that Fenton contacted several members of a "behavioral evaluation and threat assessment" team to say Holmes could potentially be a danger to others, the station reported.

The "BETA" team consists of "key" staff members from various university departments who have specific expertise in dealing with assessing potential threats on campus, the school says on its website.

Sources told KMGH that university officials never contacted Aurora police with Fenton's concerns before the July 20 killings.

"Fenton made initial phone calls about engaging the BETA team" in "the first 10 days" of June but it "never came together" because in the period Fenton was having conversations with team members, Holmes began the process of dropping out of school, a source told KMGH.

Sources told the station that when Holmes withdrew, the BETA team "had no control over him."

KMGH said sources did not know what Holmes told Fenton that sparked her concern.

"It takes more than just statements," one source told the station, explaining that Holmes would have had to tell Fenton "something specific" before she would have to report it to law enforcement.

"He would have to tell her he had taken steps to make it happen," another source told the station.

One source also told the station that the team may not have been convened because while Fenton had "serious concerns, there may not have been an immediate threat."

It's not clear if Fenton continued treating Homes after he dropped out of school, whether she referred him to another medical professional or had any further contact with him, KMGH reported, citing sources familiar with the investigation.

I understand that his having dropped out put him beyond their purvey, but I wish in cases like this the authorities could at least be notified. It's a shame they weren't. He had to have said SOMETHING to her to cause her to call the team...wish we knew what it was, but we never will.

Yep, that was one of the first things I spotted while partisans were screaming at each other...
I figure it for typical buck-passing rationalization, no one wants to be left holding the bag, or being responsible, which is sadly understandable cause we really don't HAVE a proper procedure for this which protects both the patients rights and anonymity, should they possibly present a threat - and when misconstrued by accident or on purpose, the latter being common in divorce/custody cases, it opens the psych/therapist/whatever and their practice to lawsuit.

There is also a substantial LACK of trust and credibility, since these kind of interventions are often used for bullshit reasons on teens as a prelude to shipping them off to a hellcamp, usually without just cause or even the most basic of examination or diagnosis, so you have that factor too - kind of like the boy who cried wolf, that.

I mean, if you knew a cop who'd planted dope on people for years, wouldn't you find him a little hard to believe if/when he really DID find dope on someone ?

Eyewitnesses said the actual shooter in police uniform was 6 inches shorter than Professor James Holmes (what's the alibi for Darth Cheney?). No eyewitness saw Professor James Holmes shoot anybody. Professor James Holmes never confessed to shooting anybody. Professor James Holmes has no memory of shootign anybody. Professor James Holmes was so intoxicated on prescription medications he was incapable of shooting anybody. The guns, gans mask and police uniform were not found in the possession of Professor James Holmes.

Professor James holmes was paid a $176,000 grant from Obama in 2012, for mind control research. Professor Holmes previously was employed by Pentagon's DARPA program to use mind control to make Super Soldiers that kill without conscience and have no memory (just like Professor Holmes).

"America's top military leaders drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for war. Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities. The plans were developed as ways to trick the American public and the international community into supporting a war."

The Post Office ate my alibi....... It's called CYA -- Cover Your Ass in the Air Force. Dr Fenton ran the US Air Force psych wards in San Antonio Texas, where veteran soldiers sued for being using in MKULTRA mind control experiments.

It's also called planting evidence by the FBI, busted over and over running false-flag terror attacks as confessed in Operation Northwoods.

It's also called "plausible deniability", when government criminals commit heinous crimes the sheeple cannot even comprehend. The bigger the crime, the better for (im)plausible deniability.

"But it remained for the Jews, with their unqualified capacity for falsehood, and their fighting comrades, the Marxists, to impute responsibility for the downfall precisely to the man who alone had shown a superhuman will and energy in his effort to prevent the catastrophe which he had foreseen and to save the nation from that hour of complete overthrow and shame. By placing responsibility for the loss of the world war on the shoulders of Ludendorff they took away the weapon of moral right from the only adversary dangerous enough to be likely to succeed in bringing the betrayers of the Fatherland to Justice. All this was inspired by the principle--which is quite true within itself--that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying."
