I find it curious how sensative people are over the Internet. I'm pretty sensative in real life, my best friend's husband scares me because he's so dominant and she's so passive, I don't believe he'd physically harm her, or me, but his presence and demeanor threaten me and I've never felt truly threatened by people until he showed me his true colors when I was visiting once.

But in regard to ordinary sensativity and not threats, I do tend to be quite sensative. But over the computer that dominishes quite a bit because I have time to think before I answer, I can process what someone said before I say anything back. I'm used to people not agreeing with me in real life and don't let it bother me, so it bothers me even less online.

Apparently CTS is more sensative than me.

He likes teasing, messing around, and then all of a sudden when I suggested that his best male friend was his best friend, natural assumption right, he became all deadly serious and said that Jennifer was his best friend, he was hers and I needed to understand that, he got upset when I said I don't like it when couples do that. I believe that a husband or wife in itself is an honor title and denotes number oneness, it isn't necessary for him to steal my title of best friend because he by marrying her already has claim to her deepest affections, he doesn't need to steal my honor title, this is serious with me and he made me cry hard and I had to back peddle and kiss uup to him and sya I understood. She of course agreed with him because he has her caotaoed and she doesn't mind being caotaoed. I told her later though that I still love her and even if she won't call me her best friend I will still call her mine. My love for her will not be influenced by the likes of him, demoting your best platonic friend from the title is a dishonor on the person who does it, a heavy dishonor. I guess I'm just as serious about this as he is, just in another direction.

He's very dominant, I'm dominant, Jennifer's mom is dominant, the three of us orbit around her like the sun but he always wins. It was a very primal threat experience, like I was an impala and he was a lion, quite unpleasant and very scary for me. I can't ever tell her though how I feel because she'd tattle to him and he'd turn her against me. So I can't say anything.

I type and it reads the stuff on the screen to me, so I can correct my spelling and write it correctly from now on Wish. Yeah, I'm not a great speller but my dad and my other best friend Mary are way worse than me, yesterday she asked me how to spell third and my dad routinely asks me how to spell stuff, hope I'm not steering them too far wrong. :)

And wow, not seeing in color would suck, it would be like the whole world was Leave it to Beaver. Yipes.

Hey, I still have to look at the keyboard to type, my brain doesn't do the whole type and not look thing, so if I had to take off my glasses and type, I'd be screwed... You do pretty damn good.

But since we're on the subject- dallusion is spelled D E lusional.

Hubbs spelled the word "sure" wrong until he was 30. He spelled it as it sounds -shure. Always made me giggle a bit. I have to stop and remember where the I and the E goes in words like field, shield, friend ect, and most times my brain doesn't even see when I've typed them wrong, even though I look at it, sometimes twice

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Damn...I missed this one. I weep for our loss, CTS has a good and valid voice, and as usual, I hate to see any of the good voices go. I for one am going to miss you awfully, CTS, if you ever check in to read this. I fervently hope you come back someday. Damn.

I don't do Twitter or Facebook either; forums have always been my thing, partly because I can respond to several at once, partly because it feels like a group of friends sitting around, rather than just a two-way conversation, and partly because, as a result, I can "listen" to what others say rather than just one person who I feel I should respond to. Not a big fan of e-mail for the same reasons, and never could handle IM except where it's necessary. Never been comfortable with chat either, as it goes too fast for me to keep up with and I lose the thread.

At any rate, I wish CTS all good things and will badly miss her voice, especially as she has given us somewhat "outside" perspective, being in another country. Wish I'd had a chance to say goodbye. Sad loss for all of us on RWED, tho' I DEFINITELY understand the time thing! I gained a LOT of time by not being caught up in the back and forths that can go on forever, and even more now that I'm here less. Can't argue with that.

I never thought of the idea of dreaming in black and white, does anyone know anyone who does?

I should definitely know how to spell delusion since I write it a lot, go figure. I for some reason always spell it wrong because it seems like it should be spelled with an A for some reason.

I don't think CTS is gone forever Niki, I think she's taking another break, I suspect the allure of this place will bring her back again.
