Here is the shale area. Ny water supply marked on the right will not be drilled

Also, not in Syracuse, which if you notice, like Albany. Is not sitting on shale

Also not to be drilled specifically in these aquifers and forests

Translation: you cannot drill a gas well inside a resevoir, as if you could.
You can't frack within 500 feet of a well, but as the frack is a mile across, the well is still fracked.

As for the disposal accepted methods:

Treatment means diluting 10:1, and then pouring in the river. This does nothing to stem the toxicity, since the water supply will dilute it a thousand times and have no effect on the toxicity. It's the total volume of chemicals vs. The total volume of water that determines the toxicity,

"Recycling" is extracting the unused portion for reuse, and pouring the rest in the river.

Answerable to the DEC, aka, some oil and execs.

Awful lot of fracking in Steuben county near the national forests and aquifers anyway...

Toxic chemicals can be placed in drums when extracted. If those drums should fall off the back of your truck and contaminate the water supply for NYC, Schenectady and Albany, what a shame.

Maybe time to stop playing by the rules. It definitely is when you know the game is fixed.

Hardware. I concur. In theory, they could be placed in drums. And those could tip over, which did happen, right near here, which is possibly why my sister has been given six months to live. Another possibility is that they poured 60,000 gallons into an 8,000 gallon storage tank above the resevoir. How you do this one? Simple: put a hole in the bottom of the tank, or a vaporizer at the top. Both approaches are completely legal, even if done intentionally.

How can they have done this while fracking was illegal in NY? They were Pennsylvania companies, and treating toxic waste was not illegal. Most treatments involve diluting, vaporizing into the air what will later condense, and get this: repackaging it as road salt and spread on the roads during winter. Yes, I kid you not.

These so called precautions are a joke, and not a funny one. They are to belay the fears of the gullible.

One million planned wells. One million gallons of chemical concetrate per well. That's one trillion gallons of chemical concentrate. Got a place to store that? How about the groundwater system of North America.

Look into it in your home state, this may be happening in your area, or it may be coming soon, and take this from the chemical corner: this stuff is deadly as low as one part per billion. Places where it has been disposed of it is often found in one part per thousand. Estimates are my sister took in less than one fifth of a teaspoon of the stuff, cumulatively over time. Total. That's enough to kill you. Someone else I know has just died from CFC exposure, probably also related.

It's also worthy of note, hell, it's a flashing red alert, that these chemicals are illegal for use in warfare because they are considered too deadly.

So why is this happening at all? I suspect it is that we are under attack.

I am certain now this is coming to your area. It's been slated that Michigan shale will be fracked.

Sorry, i livee in holland as a kid, i saw those as a pair of shoes. Sitll have em, damned uncomfy. One, I think I woulda gotten the sabot ;)

But tricky. The whole of TPTB are on the other side. We've actually been considering replacing all out bridges with wood, to stop the trucks. Low overhangs would also work.

Was thinking we need to get the major corporations on our side. Massive protests. I need to build an army.
