What an assinine post. This is a real world event??? This is worth even discussing? Ooops, silly me; obviously it's an excuse to use your filthy, lying terminology and misrepresent the situation. He wasn't locked out...one door was locked, he went to the next one, nonstory. Obama's the butcher of Libya, eh? Gee, you must just love Ghadafi, certainly HE's no butcher...

Tihs isn't NEARLY as funny as Dumbya's equivalent faux pas! That was almost worth posting because it was so amusing. This? Not worth notice.

Yeah, because if W does it, he's a moron, but if Barry does it.... not worth noticing

Kinda like his little war in the Mid East ?

He was locked out, which is why he couldn't open the door - IT WAS LOCKED ! Duh!

And he didn't 'go to the next' door... he had to go past several doors to get to one which was unlocked. Bush wasn't at his 'home', but in a foreign land, in unfamiliar territory. . Obama was trying to get back into his own White House...and failed.

Too gorram funny.

This is completely fair. It was a real world event when Bush tried to open a chinese decorative non-door.

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.

Yup. Funny when Bush did it, funny when Obama does it. And yes, they're both butchers and war criminals.

Childish partisan rhetoric. Where did I ever say Dumbya was moronic for his mistake?

If Obama had tried to go off stage and couldn’t get through the door in a public situation, I’d have found it just as amusing; if Dumbya had found one door locked when entering the White House, I’d have found it just as unimportant. That's just me, that's how such things come across to me, has nothing to do with anyone else or any party. Nonetheless, neither was a real-world event, as noted.

But just for argument's sake; Obama WAS returning to his home to the Oval Office even, and the doors shouldn't have been locked...if it's funny, it's so because those who work at the White House screwed up (pretty bad, if it was several doors, I didn't see the video beyond the first door). They knew he was coming, and he expected it to be open, as it should have been. Okay, I watched the video. Obama tried a door, found it locked, WALKED PAST THE NEXT ONE calmly, which no doubt he knew also led to the Oval Office, and walked into the following door. He did "try" a number of doors, he tried one unsuccessfully, passed another and went through the third.

On the other hand,

Bush got confused, no biggie, by trying to leave by a door when he should have gone around the back. He tried one door, then the next one, then stood looking silly for a minute. He was at a press conference, was kinda pissed about the questions being asked, and joked "I was trying to escape". Good comeback, and certainly in an unfamiliar place, as mentioned, he's not to be blamed, you're right. To me, he just looked more foolish than Obama trying a door he would expect to be open, finding it locked, and going to another door. I get the feeling Bush DID feel foolish, while Obama didn't...which looks funnier to others?

But enough of that, it's a silly subject and not a RWED, as I said, so why is it important at all?

Well, is IS a real-world event, in that it happened in the real world, and it happened, making it an event.

What makes Dubya's so funny is that idiotic look and pose he gives.

But neither of them are IMPORTANT real-world events.
