Actually, in my opinion you really have crossed the line from free speech into outright vandalism, and given your escalation of misconduct, I am most definately going to be sharing some suggestions about IP range blocking for incorporation into FF 2.0 to counter the inevitable attempt to spam new usernames and get around the ignore filter which is gonna make you even more irrelevant than you ever were.

Everyone draws the line somewhere, and you may question my tolerance all you like, but even *I* have a limit to the amount of bullshit I am willing to take - you and yours exceeded it, and before you even start to whimper and whine about your "rights" be advised this is private fucking property, which belongs to Haken, and financed by him even if and when we choose to throw him some dosh on the side, but of course your kind only respect "rights" when they benefit you.

I just love how there are folks here who espouse freedom and claim that their freedoms are being taken away by an ignore function, whether it's built into the site or just someone's personal system. If this were any other site, you and all those like you (or all those who are you) would be banned in order to give the people who were here to have a civil community the opportunity to go about their business.
I enjoy the open discourse and diversity here, but there are limits. I hope more of those limits will be in place for the next incarnation of the site.

Believe it or not, I don't necessarily like the "ignore" feature idea either. I mean, I like the *IDEA* of it, but I don't have any big plans to use it. Not even on you, dear Wulfchild. Much as we may disagree, I find it somewhat useful to discuss things with you, if only to help clarify my own positions.

I find it easier to just ACTUALLY ignore people, if that's my aim, rather than virtually ignoring them.

The "ignore" feature on the other board I was on was set up so that you could choose to read any individual post from that person if you wanted to, so it worked for me. It just put in a blank line so I didn't have to read the bullshit, but showed who it was from so I could choose to read it or not. Me, I'd love to have it here!

On the other hand, I'm just as happy to ignore on my own, too.
