You know, if you weren't so goddamn sensationalist and inaccurate in how you come at this shit, you'd actually be of some use sometimes, John.

This is more of the same shit we raked those two judges about in PA, cause I am pretty sure that judge was gettin a kickback somewhere in there, and examination of the financial records and transactions would be a right smart place to start with this - no doubt it's been going on some time cause no one most gives a fuck about kids...

And I got one to add to this, cause I think we just found Justin a new pair of flunkies - we crushed the private hellcamps, but there's still some run via religious groups, semi-public, or juvie justice, and one of em is Starr Commonwealth over in Albion - which I haven't really caught em out on anything major enough to break em... till now.

We'd very much like to talk to them, cause one of the largest breaks we ever had was when several teens nearly froze to death trying to escape a hellcamp in Maryland, and it brought into the public eye the question of WHY they would risk freezing to death...

And if you even for a moment think this is uncommon, think again - in fact escapes which garner media attention are one of the BEST hooks to get investigations into abusive facilities started because you begin from a strong position of public support, case in point - Backbone Youth Center in Maryland.

The really telling point about this particular escape attempt was that their course of flight was a straight beeline for VI's local headquarters, and that CANNOT be coincidence, Justin is already just waiting for the knock on the door as the blue suit mafia comes to discuss it and runs face first into his lawyer, cause we didn't have shit to do with it - but one way or another, we're GOING to hear those two kids story, so they should just skip fucking with us and jump right to damage control.

Oh yes, it's a rampant problem, but you're a damn fool if you wanna try to make it about race, you dipshit.

What the problem is that minors do not have the same level of legal protections within our legal system as adults do, because somehow the courts have decided they're not "people" according the law, you see.

And in many cases, judges have been wrangling "privacy" regs to cut the parents out of the loop so that THEY cannot press for a childs rights - there's been many cases where a judge has had a minors legal counsel ejected, arrested, or forbidden to enter the courtroom, something those two PA judges did often enough themselves.

This is all, of course, completely unconstitutional, as the constitution makes no distinction of age save regarding qualifications for office - therefore any attempt to deny minors the same legal protections (not even rights, just the bare fucking minimum of protection!) is on the face of it, a violation - this has always been one of the reasons I consider our legal system based on a foundation of lies.

It's also why I refused to utter the pledge of allegience, since that justice for all bit was bullshit, for this very reason.

And believe me, I hadda hear enough today about it, and it got me thinking - they can't vote, are not allowed to make their own medical care or legal decisions, many localities restrict when they can drive, and most have a "special" form of ID card so they can be quickly identified as our society's form of an 'untouchable' class - fuck, why not just make em wear the stars, neh ?

And yet, if they work, they pay taxes, don't they ?
How is this not taxation without representation, since they're not allowed to fuckin vote, hmm ?

Nor are they allowed certain self-defense options, despite many living in places where it'd be a damn good idea - and should they do so, in desperate need, getting caught hands them the forever-felony black mark of doom that condemns them to a life outside the law - how does that make sense ?
(And it's not like they won't be railroaded by a court system which offers them no protection!)

Not to mention the problem of abusive parents, and not even all of that is plain malice, cause you got damn fool idjits like my sister who just can't seem to LET GO and cripple their kids chances of survival by never letting them learn the stuff they're gonna NEED to survive outside the nest - and if they do run, the badge bearing horde and their black robed cohorts are happy to drag them back, often as not without question.

And that doesn't even begin to address physical violence, having religious values you don't share rammed down your throat, or being held to them, or being a virtual prisoner and slave in your own home - it may not "technically" be abuse to keep your kid in the house, refuse to let them use the phone, a computer, refuse to let them have friends over, have a job, drive a car, and make them do housework on top of it...

But "technically" abuse or not, that's barely a whit from a collar and a whip, and it's too goddamn common these days.

And then what, they flee into a world which is hostile to them, completely unprepared, or get pitched out the door into it, same difference, and it eats them alive.

No wonder they hate us - they got every right.

The nasty bastards who ran such hellholes as Provo Canyon, just for reference, and they're currently up to the neck in more trouble including class action lawsuits and various local investigations, of which we're about to add one more since despite denial of the connection, the money trail is clear and certain of the goons and stooges working there have criminal records, up to and including certain misconduct which should have precluded their employment.
(most of which offenses were committed while working at another NATSAP facility)

While it's not really a civilized way to do it, I guess it's occured to Justin that there really ARE some situations which can be markedly improved via putting a boot up someones arse...
