I *DO* find the PM system here a bit cludgy, in that I have to leave my e-mail application and come back here to send a PM. That is why, when I decide to initiate offline contact with someone here, I PM them my real e-mail address first, so that we can begin an easier dialogue.

Having said all that, it seems a bit rude to go on a tyrade about how much you despise something Haken provides you for free, something he does at his own expense.

Did my reply to your PM get through Wulf? If it did, then it works fine. Yes, we have to go to e-mail to get PMs. A bit awkward, as I'm used to a PM showing up on the site itself, but I'm not complaining. I keep several windows open anyway. I don't mind no IM--or chat--they both go too fast for me anyway.

And I'm eternally grateful to Haken for his work and financially supporting us (you're right, that IS entitlement in the best use of the word!); I know, I have to pay for and maintain the website I run...well, pay for anyway, we have a great member who solves problems for us.

Haken is a god, I thank him muchly.

I KNOW that Haken(?) is doing a great job. Shit, anywhere I can put my hat and get into a good argument, while not having to pay for it, while also showing support for my favorite TV show is AWESOME.

Just trying to say that, if they have the time (or the inclination) to add a PM feature which we can use in real time, that might be a good idea.

Focus on that... and NOT the stupid idea of an ignore feature which has been floated about and would stifle communication.

So HAKEN, if you have the time, or the inclination, a nice IM thingy would be cool...
