I agree with Whozit on account of him being right.

Wulf, there's a few holes in your theory

1) Anchor Babies of Kenya. Phlease. No one says "oh, we're going to have a baby. let's run to Kenya!" Esp. in 1961.

2) Obama's birth has to follow the constitutional "natural born" what that means is up to the supreme court. Generally, it's thought to mean "on US soil" but its up to debate.

3) That would determine his eligibility to take the oath. Once he's been sworn in, he's president even if he's a sponge moss from mars with three felony convictions.

So, Obama, if he did turn out not to be from the US, would probably be asked to resign, and Joe Biden would become president. So what.

Also, it would in no way undo what he has done, OTOH, that's not much. But he doesn't enact laws, he's the president, congress enacts laws, and Obama signs them, or vetos them. Even if someone were to review laws and bring them up for a new signature, Biden would sign the same bills.

So, I think this one is reaching.. I seriouly doubt the president is a non-american, that anyone could prove it if he wasn't, or that it would have any effect if they proved it.

Not backing the birther position, I think that's a silly position. People who support it should bear in mind that the birthers were started as an effort to keep McCain off the ticket. Obama just hadn't occurred to them, but it took them one day to come up with the Kenya theory, which BTW, IMHO, doesn't hold water. Prove to me that his mother was in Kenya at the time.

That's the real question here: Did the framers want to exclude them? Obama, sure, they would have because he was black, so do what you will with that, but they only reason they would have excluded him for a kenyan connection would be that he might represent British interests, and I think only PN thinks that he does. So, if John wants to make the case that Obama represents British interests, I'm willing to hear that argument, otherwise, I agree, I don't want to see more Kenyan forgeries, secret muslim accusations, or illegal alien invader afrophobia.
