We'll see if they make as huge a circus as last time. I'd love to see them spend as much as they did on Clinton - makes their hollow claims of fiscal responsibility even that much more transparent.

Actually, there are these things they have sometimes, even as often as every four years, or so I've heard. They call them something like "Presidential elections", and the theory goes that if you don't like the guy in the job now, you get to do something weird called "voting" and if enough people in the right places do it the same way, that guy gets thrown out of power.

You don't even have to kill him, although that probably pisses all over your fantasy.

And what was it exactly you were planning on impeaching him for? Any specific charges? Or just general principles?

They should have, or at least impeached and jailed since I don't believe in execution. But none of the checks and balances against power abuses work anymore (see my comment about Bill Clinton). Democrats didn't do it cause it would be a waste of time, even though they talked about it. The Republicans have probably come to the same conclusion, so are going down other roads of strategy and legal harrasment

Yeah, okay Byte, I don't believe in execution either, just ranting, given the inequities of saying Obama should be impeached after Dumbya and Darth trampled all over EVERYTHING that America stood for. Besides, it'd be neater to see them, Rummy and all their cronies in jail for life...that'd really hit 'em where they live! They're so desirous of history painting a glowing picture of them, that would be fun to see!
