As long as our planet is doomed, I thought I'd take this moment to discuss pizza.
Food of the Gods.
Nutrition without equal.
Tasty.
A research study showed that 23% of peeps considering suicide do not attempt it because of the possibility of no pizza in the after-life.
Ninja Turtles swear by the stuff.

1. What's your favourite kind?
2. Where do you get it?
3. Do you make your own?
AND
4. Name a better food (if you can!).

Sicilian w/extra cheese for me, please!
NYC
Yes, but I'm still working on the right recipe.
There IS no better food.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

My favorite kind involves fresh garlic, fresh basil, and thick-cut pepperoni, all on a crust about as thick as a saltine cracker, and cooked in a wood-fired brick oven.

But I've gotta admit, since Domino's changed their recipe, theirs really isn't half bad. Nobody was more shocked by that than I. Pizza Hut sucks balls, and Papa John around here blows donkeys. I've got my favorite local places - Brick Oven, Austin Pizza Garden, Hoeck's, Rapolo's, Mangia (great stuffed-crust deep-dish pizzas) and a few others, but really, Domino's will do in a pinch.

Pizza is like sex. When it's good, it's fantastic. But even when it's bad... it's still pretty damned good. :)

I used to make my own, but I was never very happy with the crust. My wife makes 'em now. And they're fantastic. Again, fresh garlic (fresh from the store, for now, until my own comes in!) and fresh basil (from the window ledge outside my kitchen), along with thick-sliced pepperoni. And sometimes we'll collaborate on a taco pizza, replacing the tomato sauce with refried black beans, then topping with cheese, fresh jalapeños and garlic, and taco meat (seasoned hamburger and chorizo, cooked and drained. And drained. And drained. Chorizo is quite greasy, but damned tasty), all cooked, then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, cilantro, and tomatoes after it comes out of the oven, and then finished off with avocado slices and some fresh-made salsa. Bazinga!h

Is there anything better than pizza, food-wise? I can't think of anything. Cheese enchiladas with chipotle ranchero sauce might be close, but I couldn't eat it more than once a month or so. Too fattening!

Oh my my, and I read this as I happen to be having lunch... Pizza.

I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to pizza, but that paper thin stuff doesn't do it for me, I like a little substance, yanno ?

I can make some evil, eeeevil pizza if I start from scratch, but I don't even compare to THIS lunatic.

Wow.

My current two favs are selected for cost/speed efficiency rather than flavor, cause I can get them really, realllly cheap...

It ain't half bad, for what it is.

And the other is raiding little ceasers, but I try to avoid that too often since if I DO get my hands on a pizza, it's gone, hell I considered Pizza Hut "bigfoot" a single serving size...

Just call me Pizza the Hutt... *burp*!

Yum! Well, except for the dead-aminal stuff, of course!

Dead animal stuff? You mean like "Road kill" pizza?

I like a thin crust, and the more veggies the better, because otherwise the pizza is too greasy, and I don't like that.

Pineapple can negate the grease without much else, so I've also always been a fan of Hawaiian.

Hamburger (dead cow), pepperoni (dead pig), or anchovies (dead, uhh, fish of some kind, I dunno).

The simpler the better. I think I prefer more Italian style than American style, a bit of nice quality tomato base, buffalo mozzarella, plenty of fresh basil leaves and something salty hot like anchovies or salami. I prefer a bit of a crispier base as well.

Margheritas are good as long as they aren't too cheesy.

I despise fruit on pizza, and bad quality pizza toppings from cheap pizza places. I don't like crowded pizzas.

I would agree with that as an axiom.
