New arrests in Time Square bomb case

New leads in Time Square car bomb case took FBI agents in searching locations outside Boston, on Long Island, N.Y and in New Jersey, chasing the source of the money used to carry out the car bombing attempt earlier this month.
Four people were taken into FBI custody, all of them on suspicion of immigration violations. Two of them were caught as a result of raids of a home and a gas station in Watertown, Mass. The Long Island raid netted two more people though local authorities warned that the two people arrested have no apparent connection to the suspect in the failed car bomb, Faisal Shahzad.

So, the FBI arrests them, but locals say there's no connection.

Guess Obama needs another beer summit to set things straight w/ the street cops, or something. Someone didn't get the memo.

( and yes, once again, if this were Bush, what would you Lefties be saying ? )

HE PLAYED ON OUR FEARS!!!!

Yeah, really, now you're just embarassing yourself, Rappy.

You can't play it both ways and not look like a complete friggin tool.

Yes, it's bullshit, we KNOW it's bullshit, and I said as much at the time, but you're too busy playing partisan games to even realize when you are in agreement with other people cause your twisted worldview doesn't seem to allow for it.

And that's a damn sad thing, it is.

Hah ha ha, Frem. ( what "twisted" world view is that ? )

I just find it funny that Obama seems to be doing much of what the spawn of Hitler, Mussolini and Pol Pot all rolled up into one aka W got grilled for doing. Only it's different when YOUR guy sits in the Oval office, huh?

No, it's not, and I've been all manner of pissed off about it, not that you'd have ever noticed.

Hell, *I* wanted to roadblock his ass on certain things before he even got a chance to get them off the ground, but you weren't having no part of that, still screaming about how McCain was gonna slam dunk it, when when that didn't happen YOU went and hid under a rock, so I am not exactly too sympathetic to your whining about it now.

He had his chance to convince me, didn't make it even ninety days before I was firmly convinced he was naught more than an extension of the Clintonistas and the Chicago political machine, a collective I consider no better than the Tammany Hall crowd of yore.

And yet you seem to have no comprehension of the fact that someone could despise both Shrub *and* 'Bama, it's all black and white to you, and so you are completely blind to any shade of grey.

Besides which, ain't *NONE* of em "my" people anyway cause imma damn Anarchist, another fact that seemingly escapes you, cause in your eyes everyone on the planet is either sucking up to a RightWing Authoritarian or a LeftWing Authoritarian, and you just can't wrap your little partisan brain around the idea that someone, anyone might choose NEITHER.

Don't think you're the only blind partisan fool I'm pissed at, neither - all the folks choosing not to stand against the abuses of the last administration that this one has actively and aggressively continued, well, sure, you gotta right to be pissed at them...

But I ain't one of em.

Get *THAT* through your damn thick head, will you ?

Rap

Earlier you said something about the grand conspiracy, which is it?

I'll give you my take: neither. The Pakistani was some guy on the watch list, they thought he was up to something, couldn't prove it, and so pinned this bombing on him.

The bombing had to go somewhere because the media was already all over it, so they couldn't let it go simply because there was no bombing. So they had to make something up.

There was no bombing because initially it was a bogus arrest. The cops nabbed a car thaf had propane tanks in it, and then were embarrassed and decided to go with a terrorism story, paint themselves as saviors, which, sure, is just whaf Obama is doing, and TSA and the media and everyone else. Once it had been labelled as a terrorist attack, someone was going to lose their head over it, and the axe fell on some Pakistani, end of story.

Oh, and i've found the left to be pretty unreliable, they'll attack their own.

Yeah, I should accuse you of coming into every thread and throwing shit like a monkey, or of being "a idiot parrot" who can't learn human speech, and then refuse to answer the questions posed.

Oh, wait. That's what YOU do. It's who YOU are.

You have ripped everyone and anyone who suggested that maybe Shazad *DIDN'T* have accomplices, and now you want to rip anyone who says maybe he *DID* have accomplices.

And the funny thing is, you'd be perfectly fine with this story, indeed you'd be violently defending this line of BS, if it were uttered by your messiahs Bush and Cheney.

Ah, Tammany and Tweed, the very essence of scummy Democrat politics - it piqued my interest originally because shortly after it's founding Aaron Burr managed to co-opt it for a while as part of his scheme to wreck the Federalists, steamrollering that fuckwit John Adams (of the Alien and Sedition Acts, the *original* "patriot" act bullshit) and preventing his ass from getting re-elected for another crack at it.

Mind you, I *like* Burr, careful investigation reveals that, although completely vilified at every turn in our history for it, that man did more than anyone to stymie the Federalist intent for a new aristocracy/oligarchy with themselves at the head of it, and his crowning moment was putting a bullet in that pissant Hamilton, something which saved us as much trouble as capping Hitler back in the 1920's might have saved Germany.

Anyhow, as all political machines do, it fell to the usual corrupted pack of jackals, culminating in the reign of Boss Tweed.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boss_Tweed
Thankfully cut short by the efforts of Sam Tilden, one of the few relatively honest men to ever enter politics, although in one case I really wish he'd been a little more ambitious.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_J._Tilden
The election of Hayes was typical of the kind of scummery, scandal and although he was in effect cheated of a presidency, it did get those rapacious bastards to end "reconstruction" and pull the troops out.

They also pulled the usual smear tactics - this was his own side, mind you, the Republicans were slime, and his own Democrats not much better, and pissed at him cause he broke with them and became a Barnburner instead of serving the corporate masters of one side or the other.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnburner

The Tammany crowd, although taking a real drubbing here and there on occasion, eventually got what was coming to em at the hands of FDR, who put his boot so firmly to their ass that they never really recovered, and went belly-up for good some time in the mid 60's, upon which the Chicago political machine took precedence as the premier venue for Democrat corruption.

Like I always say, one long unbroken chain of sleaze all the way down the line, and with the same intent from the very start, the only thing these shitheels ever REALLY wanna change is who gets to hold the leash, not a one of em is interested in cuttin it, ever.

Yeah, I wondered at this too. Wasn't it Crappy who put up the one claiming the MSM coddling terrorists? If they're coddling them, why did they label this guy a terrorist with Pakistani connections so fast and furiously??

I must be missing something here. Crappy, have you ever been checked for schizophrenia? Or Dissociative? We know about Delusional, but you really should get checked out, the above is only one example of the dichotomies you present, and I worry about you...

Wait a minute. Didn't you give us this one, too, Crappy:
Quote:

Quote:

“There is no credible evidence so far that this attack was more than at least one person, the driver,” said Mayor Mike Bloomberg. “After that there is no evidence that anyone else was involved. It may be, but we can’t say that it is.”…

“If I had to guess, twenty five cents, this would be exactly that,” Bloomberg said. “Homegrown maybe a mentally deranged person or someone with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.”

http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/03/bloomberg-hey-maybe-the-times-sq

/

There's evidence it was more than 1 person. ( several have been arrested in Pakistan )
It wasn't a home grown terrorist.
It wasn't a tea party type, angry at the health care bill
It wasn't " anything ". It was exactly one thing. A radical Islamic Jihaddists, who wants to kill innocent people.

Did 9/11 not teach you anything ?

wow.

So Bloomberg got it right all along apparently. Where are the apologies? You really DO need help; unfortunately, we're not licensed to give you any.

That was my favorite line out of that blather. Rappy's so wrapped up in his delusions and confusions that he's using the singular AND plural in the same sentence - it was *A* "radical Jihaddists". I know for a fact that Rappy is utterly incapable of figuring out the plural forms of any words that end in "-ist", but it's still high-larious to see him blow it so badly, especially in this context.

He really DOESN'T have any idea if he's mad because there's only ONE guy, or because there might be MORE THAN ONE GUY!

He's getting so wrapped up in his own illogic (and ill logic) that he's mummifying himself in it.

I just find it funny how the Leftist narrative has gone from

( Bloomberg ) probably some angry white guy, upset over Obama's healthcare to

( Contessa ) I was ever so hopeful it wasn't one of the very folks who attacked us before, said they'd attack us again, and vowed to keep attacking us, because that might make SOME folks get angry at those people who say they want to murder us... , and then

( the MSM , in damn near unison) .. well, he lost his job, his house was foreclosed, who WOULDN'T"T be upset ? I mean, can't we cut this guy, this down on his luck, lone wolf, a bit of sympathy ?

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise! We then wake up to find a sweeping sting operation, Gestapo style, doors being knocked in, armed agents rushing in.....

( where's Cindy Sheehan and Danny Glover now ? )

I don't know if this guy is a lone wolf, cranky over ObamaCare, or a tanned, brainwashed Corey Feldman, who converted to Islam while grief stricken over the passing of his dear friend, Corey Haim.

I'm SURE we'll find out, in the end, with this group of stellar individuals running the country.

It's all good, because Obama's in da hizzzhouse!

Got any cites for the above quotes? Or are you just making them up? I don't recall anyone saying those things. You're not biased, are you?

By the way, has "this group of stellar individuals" done a worse job of finding Osama than the last group did? How about those WMD?

Fascinating. No response to the fact he said one thing then directly opposed it, and blamed the left in both cases.

(You see, Bloomberg said clearly we couldn't know and he was guessing, and said so.)

(We've already dealt with Brewer.

(I don't know who might have said the third one, I have a strong suspicion it's a bastardized version of what I said, because I've never heard it anywhere, either, and if it was "in unison", surely I would have.)

He DOESN'T care, just grabs whatever is convenient that he can use against the left. Much like Whatsit grabs any stupid thing and puts Olbermann in the title, only Crappy's got more imagination.

Like I've said before: Here to stir the pot, nothing more, and here to blame everything on the left, 'cuz that triggers more people than otherwise. Something along the lines of "My mind's made up, don't confuse me with the facts", tho' from what he writes, his mind ISN'T made up, more like "My motive's made up, I'll ignore any facts that don't further it."

And yeah, I'd love to see cites to those quotes, but I'm pretty sure they were at least partly made up to make a point. Since Crappy almost never proves ANYTHING, everything he has to say is irrelevant...especially when you know the motive.
