And by the way, Wulfie, you posted EIGHT posts in this thread in a space of THIRTY-ONE MINUTES, and then you wanted to know why nobody was jumping on your rage bandwagon. Also, you didn't notice, but it was at a very slow time of day. For me, it was around 4:00-4:30, when I'm typically VERY busy trying to get all my last-minute shipping run and my end-of-day reports wrapped up before UPS and FedEx show up on my doorstep.

And when you do crap like this - rapid-fire spam-bumping of your own threads - you end up just looking as desperate and crazy as PirateNews. 2) Everyone is aware that this is a remake right? Did you guys miss it in the 80s? Yes, someone remade it, probably because they saw the irony of the situation. Everyone talking about Goldman Sachs as evil alien lizardmen, but the Goldman/Sachs '08 administration promising us that they are good and will brings us salvation, and salivating liberals worshiping them blindly.

Myself, when I saw the V pilot, I had to chuckle. I didn't take it seriously, but I got the point. It was a well earned stab of irony. This is the sort of conservative comeback I like to see. Screw Beck and the whole crowd of "shout you down"
right wingers, you guys sound worse than the left. A nice sociological commentary, in the form of fiction. Not overly subtle, but not news either. There are a large number of stories that could be remade to predict the predicament we're in.

As for political commentary, I liked John Stewart's opening with John Oliver on the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Meanwhile, people, everyone:

Chill.

I mean, stop fighting with each other. It's like you're a bunch of school kids jonesing for a playground fight, and that goes for both sides of the aisle. Something like V really does directly address the situation that we all dread here, regardless of the political slant.

So it's a snark against the Obama administration, but it's not like they didn't walk right into it, and it's not a if there haven't been dozens over the last eight years that were snarks against the Bush administration. Evolve a sense of humor ;) Oh, and Wulf, cut down on the caffeine. After a post, you should wait about a day before checking back to see if there were any responses, then bump if you want to. Don't just bump every 15 minutes, it looks insane.

Oh, and enjoy the show, whether you agree with the political slant or not. Remember, it's not new, I know a lot of you caught the first run. It's fun to watch some of the old crowd, and I'm sure stuff will blow up.

So the Reps got a couple of Governorships back, so this "V" seems to have mocked Obama a bit, so the polls are showing Obama & his Pelosi-Reid policies slipping in popularity...so what? It doesn't mean squat now. I wish I could say that to the Lindsay Grahams of the world, who just can't wait to shoot their stupid mouths off if the Repubs can make it thru a week without some sordid scandal blowing up. When you gloat, you only look petty and stupid, and you also embolden your opponents with new vigor. We see this play out in sports all the time. No one knows what the political / economic climate will be like 12 months from now. Everyone knows that wounded animals are the most dangerous.
