"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Quote:

From the article:

The task force's officers may have worked undercover on occasion, but one wonders about their undercover abilities, given that Ms. Strom was able to out them so consistently.

It's funny that cops are the only ones who think they don't look like cops.

Yeah, you'd think they'd AT LEAST remember to change out of police issue footwear before trying to infiltrate protesters, wouldn't you ?

And worse, try to LIE ABOUT IT...
Officers never posed as protesters: Quebec police

o_cops_070822/20070822?hub=TopStories

And then change their story midstream when you get caught!
Quebec police admit they went undercover at Montebello protest
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2007/08/23/police-montebello.html

Sayin they were just trying to monitor the situation when they have em ON TAPE, clearly trying to pick some shit to give their buddies an excuse to drop the jackboot on peaceful protesters.

You wanna stop crime ?
Lock up the cops.

Oh yes, and remember me dismissing the stupid fucking idea of letting the cop have his way while trying to argue it later ?

Here's a damn good example of WHY that's such a damned bad idea and includes absolute proof that cops rig field tests for drugs as well.

Man Jailed Three Months for Breath Mint Possession
http://www.reason.com/blog/show/135531.html
"While I was sitting in jail I lost my apartment. I lost everything," he said.

There goes your home, your good name, probably your relationship, credit rating, you name it, gone - and without resources trying to get your record expunged so that you can procure employment without a felony arrest hanging over your head, good fucking LUCK, cause you'll for damned sure need it.

If you don't stand and deliver on the spot, you piss away your best chance to resist their abuses, so what if they might beat the shit out of you, what do you think is gonna happen when they get you down in the special room off camera at central booking ANYWAY, dumbass ?

-Frem

PS: And since I am being downright crude about it, allow me to point out that cops are natural bullies, and them knowing you will resist a bullshit arrest quite viciously can often prevent one in the first damned place.

This is just too damn hilarious NOT to include!

Apparently, the bullshit and easily rigged test kits they give cops, notorious for false positives on just about ANYTHING, always test positive on natural soap products, regarding them as GHB.

And the manufacturer of one of these soaps decided to make an issue and spectacle out of it that's just downright hilarious.

What an irony, a band called "The Germs" gets shaken down by the police for possessing SOAP ?

And this guy here runs that ball right on into the endzone, bwahahaha.

Mr Clifford Clark, the accused sniper of redlight scameras in Tennessee made the "mistake" of doing the exact same thing on his website, posting names of the cops who arrested him, plus their home address from county property tax records with street photos of their homes from Google Maps.

So UT kicked him out of school, had him arrested by undercover home invasion, and prosecutors tacked on more charges in retaliation. He won his redlight trial, but now he has to pay for 5 more trials for at least $10,000 each!

The only free speech anyone really has is posting actual court files, then take your own photos of cops testifying at the court house. All the corporate media censored this interview of Mr Clark after his court victory, and reported that the US Constitution is a mere "technicality". It appears the star witness to cops confessing to shooting the redlight camera may be a provocateur himself.

Pick your fights carefully, no matter how mad you are. Even on the web.

DREAMTROVE

Reminds me of one time I did get a ticket. Three actually.

An attractive young woman smashed into me from behind, on the highway, she was going 80 or something, pulled out to pass a car I was passing, didn't see me, crash.

She had just gotten the car, it still had the showroom sheet on the side window with price and specs on it. Taking it home to surprise her husband.

No one was injured because of the whole relative speed thing, we talked for a couple minutes, she was furious I was going so close to the speed limit. A cop stopped a few minutes later. He talked to me only to ask for license and registration. He then talked to her, they walked off in the woods for an hour, came back, I got three tickets, she got none.

Somehow I think that her husband might rather be surprised at how she got off, so to speak...
