"...Why does the Obama administration need or want the latitude and longitude coordinates for every home in America? Why the rush to GPS paint every home in the next 90 days? Why must the marker be within 40 feet of every front door? For what possible purpose does the Fed need GPS coordinates for every home, and under what authority do they have the right? Census workers, whom I asked, had the same holy-crap look on their faces that I had by then," he wrote.

Then he cited the cooperative effort that the U.S. Census Bureau has reached with ACORN, the organization of community activists with which Obama worked.

"Obama's interest in an ACORN-controlled 2010 Census, for the purpose of redistricting to the advantage of Democrats before the 2010 mid-term elections, comes as NO shock from a regime known for their heavy handed Rules for Radicals political strategies. But what does this have to do with GPS marking every home in the country?" he questioned.

Ask those who have served military duty, he said. They are very familiar with the most common use of GPS target painting, and the rest might want to read books such as "The Precision Revolution: GPS and the Future of Aerial Warfare."

"But the front door? Sounds like a jackboot convenience to me," said RightSoup.com.

Added Williams, "What I do know is this … Coincidences of this number and magnitude don't happen. … I also know that people had better start asking the right people the right questions and demanding answers fast. Begin with asking the mainstream press why there has been no public notification of the federal governments GPS marking your front door?"

You DO realize GPS requires a satellite, right ?

How long do you think it's gonna stay up there if the powers that be start misusing it like this ?

Whatever company owns it, might be the best defense against this sorta thing cause satellites and launch costs are expensive as hell, and you can bet your sweet chunk they damn well KNOW what will happen to with within a month should it be abused in this manner.

Shit dude, there's freakin twelve different contingency plans for this laid out already, I was starting to wonder if they'd EVER get around to foisting this lame idea since I expected it MONTHS ago.

You wanna know the funniest part ?

Acorn/Obama didn't write it, or even think it up, they stole it right from the former administrations playbook - it seems SOMEONE, somewhere (and I have no idea yet, it ain't Specter tho) from that side has either gone mole or turned coat.

I was waitin for Shrub to do it, but I don't guess it matters none who does.

Oh, yeah, and we got "official" competition now, apparently, much to my amusement.
http://www.stratfor.com/
I wouldn't call it competition though, since they're like this hollywood big budget blockbuster and we're just a little indie production.

Anyhows, there's a couple factual inaccuracies in the story as WND presents it, about par for the course - but it don't matter none cause as soon as the GPS satellites wind up more of a threat that a benefit to the people as a whole, they're toast.

There are three hundred million people in this country, and that's three hundred million chances someone will find a way - which ain't no one much tried because the tremendous benefit of commsats has far outweighed the petty abuses of em so far.

But push that envelope too hard, and that's three hundred million chances for something to go badly, badly wrong - and to make the potential consequences abundantly clear, imagine one of the sats orbital adjustment packages being subverted to send it into a re-entry course which the terminus of is the residence of the jackass who signed the order for this ?

I say fuck em, let em use mapquest and get lost a couple times like every frigginbody else.

FYI - site three has also left a memo reminding us that Census personnel are NOT allowed in the complex to question the residents, and we are to enforce this provision, they are to use registered US Mail for their business, not send unvetted temp agency creeps with no official ID door to door.

I don't care if the old codger WAS sixty five, off the property he went, and it was only my professionalism that kept me from helping it along with my boot!

It cannot be said enough, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to endlessly repeat it

Actually , GPS requires a fair constellation of satellites , and they're 11,000 miles high...That's a pretty fair pitch...

Since it was a mil-sat system to begin , there's lots of redundancy built-in...

A certain agency asked me for my 'new' address , so I sent them *rough* lat-long coordinates...

I wasn't feeling very obliged , if you know what I mean...

Yeah, but I was keepin it simple.

Which it is, really... no commsats = no GPS.

Kinda reminds me of the David Drake novel "Rolling Hot"

At the beginning, they left all the commsats in place, cause the net benefit was high enough to leave them there, but when all hell DID break loose, the very first thing Col Hammer does is take those bastards out.

I happen to own every book in that series, mind you, and if there's a better commentary on the people and politics behind violence and war, I've not seen it yet.

Another great post from S-T-R , Frem...

Thanks for bringing it to our notice .

"...the clause in question speaks only of an “Enumeration” – i.e., the total number of people living in a given geographical region. It says precisely nothing about the ethnicity of said people, their occupations, level of earnings, or how many toilets happen to be in their home. It says nothing about whether you own pets, have a medical condition, or are a certain age. It means how many people live where you do. Period. End of story. But somewhere along the line, some group of smartass politicians decided that wasn’t good enough."

When it comes to governments , the one that governs least governs best...

Discard any illusions to the contrary...

http://www.newswithviews.com/Cutler/michael159.htm

'...Much of what politicians do should be seen as the creation of illusions. (In fact, I sometimes wonder why real illusionists such as David Copperfield don't run for elected office!)

In order to attempt to assuage the fears of the citizens of our nation and to minimize concerns about the extreme national security risks that such a massive amnesty program would create tout the fact that each application would undergo a “security check.”

In fact, this is the process that is currently used to adjudicate applications for various immigration benefits.

I have testified at numerous Congressional hearings about the extreme dangers that cannot be eliminated by implementing such a program that would require USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) to process 100,000 such applications each and every day, filed for aliens whose true identities are unknown and unknowable, by an agency that is utterly unable to do its job now...'
