I mean with 'Bama being sworn in and all.. (not to mention the Israelis "protecting themselves" all over the Palestinians..)

Who would care that our 4th Amendment just got eroded a little more?

Well, look on the bright side- John Williams is sure to write us a nice, rousing Imperial Theme song!

This is not new, the "Good Faith" exception has been around for a while.

Wulf.

Good catch. That's a disaster. It's an invitation to law enforcement to break the law. It was avoiding such encouragement that got OJ off. No one thought he was innocent, but the evidence tampering was plain. So, guilty was a green light for evidence tampering, innocent was a red flag that said, tamper with evidence and you can sink a rock solid case.

Alas, the bill of rights is falling apart.

I've come to the conclusion that the union cannot be saved. We must form a more perfect union within the present one, not by overthrowing it, but by ignoring its existence. Govt. is like God and Mammon, it only exists through the collective belief of its subjects. If we rise up against it, it will smite us down, because, though we oppose it, we are demonstrating our belief in it through our opposition.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Please note that so-called conservative REPUBLICAN-APPOINTED judges approved this travesty and it was those horrible "liberal" judges who were against it.
Quote:

Chief Justice John Roberts {GW Bush} writing for the court, said the evidence may be used "when police mistakes are the result of negligence such as that described here, rather than systemic error or reckless disregard of constitutional requirements."

Justices Samuel Alito, {GW Bush} Anthony Kennedy (Reagan}, Antonin Scalia {Reagan} and Clarence Thomas {Bush} sided with Roberts.

No need to ignore it, so much as *outgrow* it.

To the point of "And I should listen to you.. why ?"

Cause if nobody listens to em, they got no one to force you to either.

DREAMTROVE

Frem,

Sort of my point. Of course, I intend to not confront it in the process. Its power, money and structure will just become obsolete in time.

Remember that chilling night when Cutie Tymoshenko stormed the parliment with her 300,000 protestors. The Guard said, they debated opening fire, and realized that as many as they could kill, they would still lose. And at that point, they would all be executed on the capital steps. So 15,000 armed men surrendered to an unarmed mob.

There will always be people willing to obey the impotent ptb, but only to a point. When it become a truly hopeless endeavor, they will just quiver inside the Mall in DC claiming to be the govt. of America, like the Romans, hiding in the Vatican for centuries, claiming to rule the empire. And no one will care.

Oh, btw, Lukashenko is the premier of the Soviet Union. Medvedev is President of Russia. Seems Putin doesn't care.

Govt. is just the head of the religion of law, as the Fed is now the head of the religion of money.
