DREAMTROVE

It was recently asserted that a minority "apologize for the terrorists." Well, first, no one apologizes for the terrorists. Second, yes, some people sympathize with the Palestinians, and they may be a minority. I think it's humorous that the people being targeted by Signym's thread were baited so easily (our tax dollars at work?) But lets be honest, sympathizers with Ohlmert are a minority on this board, and everywhere else: 3% in Israel, and 1% in the US. There are none anywhere else.

But my point is not to take sides here. Everyone knows where I stand, against all conflict except self defense. I'm not convinced that either ruling party here is engaged in self defense. Some individuals undoubtedly are.

My point is that the majority is saying nothing. We all know the names of everyone on this forum. I'd say 80% of them have not commented on this issue. That makes people debating the issue automatically a minority.

I'm sure everyone has a reason for staying out of it, but my personal decision to drop out of this discussion is time management. I wander over to this board in between other tasks, and spend a couple minutes. I was until recently spending half an hour, an hour or more. Then I saw the futility of the time involved.

So here's my invitation to the silent majority. Start your own thread, without venom, on some other topic, that doesn't feed the flames, and maybe there will be something worth posting on :)

No offense to the rest of y'all.
