FREMDFIRMA

Temporary departure from politics, due to an idea that floundered through my head while half awake earlier.

If you could spend one hour, silently drinking with a celebrity, athlete, actor, politician or whoever, who would it be ?

Rules: No talking, no sign language, no pantomime, just silently putting away some booze or (for non drinkers) coffee/hot chocolate, etc.

You get one pick, two runners up, and feel free to explain why.

And what you would drink.

It cannot be said enough, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to endlessly repeat it

My Choice:
Brad Dourif, the guy is just so good he could convey an entire conversation with facial expression and his eyebrows, plus he has a nice creepy/weird factor that would fit nicely.
And we'd be drinking Scotch, Glenfiddich to be exact.

Runner up 1:
Summer Glau, I could stare at her all day and she's got a smile with more wattage than a dive light, not to mention sexy ankles.
And we'd be drinking Amaretto or Hot Cocoa.

Runner up 2:
Hero, just to watch him squirm if I could make him, a fine duel of wills without our usual eloquence to back us up would be so interesting.
And for that, Potcheen, irish moonshine.
(And yes, it's legal, Bunratty & Knockeen Hills import it.)

PIZMOBEACH

... fully loaded, safety off...

Osama Bin Freaking Laden - we can drink whatever he wants. I want to here how he spins things and what he's so afraid of.

Any of my great great great great etc grandparents - most likely drinking Scotch and probably the very cheap stuff, like home brew.

Thomas Jefferson, Bordeaux - more interested in talking to the inventor than the statesman. (Tesla was a close call for 3rd).
