Since college is a scam for the great majority of people who go, ex-Students who aren't making $500k per year should be offered to pay 0% interest on the life of the loan as long as they make their monthly payments on time. This money should not be government funded. It should be paid for by the schools who scammed the students.

If they miss a payment, they get penalized with 1 year of interest at the agreed upon level. If they miss a second payment, they get penalized with 5 years of the agreed upon interest. If they miss 3 payments they have to pay the agreed upon interest until it's paid off.

This needs to be made the REAL lesson here for everybody. Unless you are ambitious and smart enough to become a Doctor or Lawyer or Engineer CPA or any of the jobs that actually require knowledge, college isn't for you. If you got a even a B average in high school, college isn't for you.

Colleges would learn that they actually have to work hard to get people to go to them, and they'd have to make their rates competitive.

Businesses who know that nearly all the jobs they have on offer don't require actually having a college degree will learn they need to ditch those requirements or they won't have enough people in the workforce pool to do the jobs that need to get done.

I'm okay with certification programs taking the place of these college degrees in many instances. People SHOULD know how to properly use computers and smartphones for a lot of jobs. If you're going to work at a bank as a teller or somebody who sets up new accounts for people, you should know at least a basic amount of math, money and interest rates. These are all things that can be taught in a year to two years, max... even if you didn't learn shit during 12 years of public school.

You don't need to have classes in humanities and sociology to get any job in America except for becoming a teacher who teaches humanities and sociology.
