This is the reason this man should be PRez...there is no argument. If you can watch this vid and see Hillary or Rudy or anyone else going after the fed chairman on "our" behalf like Ron Paul does(in the middle of a campaign) show me the video...God knows Bush is under Bernanke's desk sucking his "Johnson"....Ron Paul is the only candidate that understands monetary policy...

I agree with Ron Paul's views, and I'm glad this sort of thing is getting out there.

Thanks, Kaneman.

We probably agree on a lot of issues.

As far as Ron Paul, I think that most people yearn for the kind of Liberties he promotes. It's just so hard to get over the fallacies that we've been programmed to believe throughout our whole lives. We've been taught to embrace systems within the government that, like the Dardick pistol, are bad answers to questions that no one asked.

Very true Ant. However it has to start somewhere. I believe now is the time and New Hampshire will be the place. The Tea Party in December will blow the political world away. Pundits could not believe Paul raised 5 million in the third quarter then they couldn't believe Paul raised 4.3 million in one day(never do you hear he is close to 9 million this quarter already) what are they going to say when he raises more than any Republican candidate in the 4th quarter? yep ...."Long shot, dark-horse, 10 term "LIBERTARIAN" leaning republican congressman from...........

Good heavens, someone ELSE remembers that horror ?

That and the Gyrojet were prolly the worst implemented ideas in firearm history.

Nope.
Rudy will blame the fall of the dollar on 9/11.
Hillary will be too busy trying to force Health Insurance on everyone to pay attention to much else.

Ah, yes, the Gyrojet pistol...

A weapon designed for short ranged combat that was useless at short range.

And, ironically, the Gyrojet Rifle, something that could have benefitted from the rocket-bullet concept, never came to fruition.

At least the idea sparked the minds of many sci-fi and comic book writers, which is more than I can say for the abomination of the 'tround.'

Heh. Thanks for reminiscing with me on one of my favorite topics. :-)

That so ?

Got another one for ya, bit more interestin if you've read the Probability Broach Graphic Novel, but still interesting if you haven't.

The Gabbet-Fairfax Mars was, and is, a real gun.
http://www.horstheld.com/0-Mars.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_Automatic_Pistol

It's got horrific recoil, makes a downright unholy bang with an awful muzzle blash/flash that's somewhat reminiscent of being in the edge of a flashbang grenades effective radius.

And you cannot aim it duellist style, you HAVE to hip or point shoot it, cause the casing ejects straight out of the back of the pistol, which it does with some velocity indeed.

Fun to play with, not so very useful for self defense tho.

'Another drawback of the design was that the fired cases were ejected out of the back of the pistol directly into the face of the firer.' My o my, can you imagine 'not twitching' knowing the case is coming back at you? Even if you hip shoot it, it's coming at your arm...

LOL! Nothing like a gun that shoots back at you. :-)

Incidentally, I enjoyed the Probability Broach. I could not agree with 100% of the ideas within it, but they all at least found sympathy in my heart.

If you've got any more comics like that one, drop me a link.
