Saw that, didja...

Imma give you an A fer doin yer homework this week Muckrakerisall.

But yeah, that bein my point of issue with these goons, they suck up all those resources, don't do the job they're assigned, and then harrass and exploit the very people they're supposed to protect.

I mean, if you hired a guy to paint your garage white, and instead he paints your house green, molests your daughter, steals all your silverware and poisons your pets - would you still pay him for the job ?

Slash their budgets, downsize the lot of them and blackball them from further gov't employment, see how they like trying to struggle through then in the society they helped ruin.

Rewarding these bastards with MY tax money for their misdeeds rooks me, always has.

Wow, Frem, you're harsh on spooks.
*slips into NeoCon-ese*
Why, don't you realize they are a necessary evil, and that the good that comes from their assassination attempts, torture, and dirty deals far outweighs the bad?

One of their branches even developed the Airwolf- where would we be without THAT????

MALBADINLATIN

My Uncle Jack used to work for the CIA..He helped the Shah of Iran set up spy stuff so we could watch the Russians better, and he could watch his neighbors and citizen/enemies. Too bad it didn't help cuz he got runnoft....Anyway, the point my Uncle made was that CIA agents are the Keystone Cops of the spy world. The real "don't exist" kites and spooks work for the NSA. Then from there, it goes off into scary black ops people that scare the crap out of Kites and spooks. And they exist even less than non-existant people, they're like the black holes of people who are not here. See what happens when Uncle Jack gets drunk! If they (the CIA) are like him, don't fear them, trust me, After all he should have killed me after telling me all that stuff. Now look, it's a 30 year old security leak!

If you're not on Malbadinlatin's side, you're with the terrorists.

JONGSSTRAW

Black Ops goes way back to the 1940's post WWII era, when the Iron Curtain of countries was being aligned by Russia and puppet govt.s installed. Some of their actions have been widely speculated for years, mostly involving protecting dictators from losing power to Communists. That's what the USA specialized in for decades....propping up pro-West dictators, rather than see their countries go commie....all over the world. Too bad they couldn't duplicate their expertise dealing with Communists when the time in history came for dealing with Muslim fundamentalists....starting with Iran in 1979. I guess in 1979 they were still busy worrying about Russia...they failed miserably to anticipate the explosion of terror and death that Iran has exported to the world for 30 years.

Pot-smoker extraordinaire & Castro-lover Oliver Stone speculated in JFK that Black Ops set up and ran the entire Kennedy assassination coup d'etat and cover-up....what do you think?

I think the CIA bad boys just 'let' it happen, American Mob actually pulled the trigger. Well, IMO anyway. I know it wasn't that idiot Oswald.
On the other hand, it was done elsewhere, maybe the black ops dudes were getting heady with what they could do, and felt nothing was beyond them...

My Dad knew a "secret ops" in Korea who was short, skinny, bald, jewish, had glasses and never smiled, and was alegedly very very smart. I don't know what kind of person would want to go into black ops...certainly NOT me. If I were recruiting them I would go for smart unasuming looking folks, and HOT chicks too!

Ah, yes, good ole Operation Ajax, and the mother of all blowbacks.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Ajax

The direct and festering root of 50 YEARS of misery and violence, a lot of it directed at us.
Yanno, I think they might be holdin a little grudge here.

Oh yeah, and given the established pattern of behavior from the very get-go, from this, COINTELPRO, MK-ULTRA, MONARCH and all the rest of this sick shit, no matter what the law said, no matter what the pike commision ordered - do you ever really think they even *paused* ? even for an instant ? do you really think they're not even now pulling shit that's gonna blow back on us for ANOTHER 30-50 years ?

Time to put an end to em, I say - and Chris, I was being nice, had I my way they'd be swinging from a gallows on the white house lawn for the crows to pick clean as a warning against such treasonous behavior.

SIGNYM

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

I think this wa just to distract from the warrantless wiretapping investigation coming up.

Between outing a CIA agent, lying our way into Iraq, stealing elections, getting rid of habeus corpus, signing statements and a host of other outrages I wonder what it would take to get Joe Sixpack off the couch and up on his hind legs?

Oh, yeah... getting a cold one from the frig.

Point well taken, my Uncle snuck out of Iran in the back of a truck buried by newspapers, then wound up as one of the top 10 on the Ayatollah's death list, became an alchoholic because he couldn't handle the constant paranoia, moved out to the boonies to hide, and still...till the day he died was proud of the work he did for his country, and he liked the Shah. He used to always say they should make Tehran into a parking lot. These people are believers, not psychopaths. Much like the pro war Bush administration which refuses to proactively plan beyond 2 four year terms. I feel certain that the don't care what happens in 20-30 years, they'll be very old or dead by then anyway.

If you're not on Malbadinlatin's side, you're with the terrorists.

My Dad was to move me and my family to Iran back then -I was 16- and said that we would have a great time in an American village while he helped program stuff for the Shah's computers...I said I wouldn't go. "Can you say runaway, Dad???"
He finally relented, not wanting to break up the family. Less than 2 years later we had that pesky hostage thing, and my Dad got one BIG I-told-you-so.
