WASHINGTON - Occupy D.C. showed off its soft side Saturday afternoon with an unconventional nuptial.

At their nightly meeting known as a general assembly, Occupy members approved the marriage of a couple who identify themselves on Twitter as Pocahontas and Hunter. The pair said they don't recognize the state's ability to legitimize their love and preferred to have their wedding presided over by fellow demonstrators.

The bride wore a dark bandanna as a veil and the groom sported a purple T-shirt.

After some jokes and kind words, the group voted in favor of the marriage.

But it wasn't a spur of the moment thing. The couple had it on the group's agenda in advance.

Awww.

But I do wonder what would have happened if the General Assembly had voted down their marriage.

Hello,

Probably much the same as what happens when other bodies refuse marriages. Anger, resentment, possibly protest, changing affiliations, etc.

Never forget what this man is. You keep forgiving him his trespasses and speak to him as though he is a reasonable human being. You keep forgetting the things he's advocated. If you respond to this man again, you are being foolish.

America loves a winner!

Did those assembled use that annoying, creepifying , cultish, group chant routine, which is so often used at such rallies ? As if wedding ceremonies weren't horrific enough, I can't imagine having to recite back to the preacher, minister, shamin, what ever, every gorram word they used through out the ceremony.

And did they approve via that cheesy 'jazz hands' applause ? Among the most pointless, useless and idiotic nonsense in all of humanity.
