Some of these stories seem small and inconsequential. Like taking pita bread as a bribe for crossing a checkpoint.

But taken as a whole, it makes me think of the "banality of evil."

I feel these soldiers were very courageous to share their stories. I hope soldiers are not risking their whistleblowing in vain, because no one is listening.
