I think the move away from "stewardess" and "steward" was to find one gender-neutral word that would describe everyone.

When are they coming out with a male flight attendant calendar?

I thought it was 'Flight Attendant' now. Are we still using the steward term?

I don't want to embarrass myself on my next yearly flight.

I've not seen but 1 or 2 lookers in my most recent flights. And no, none of them quite like those lasses.

Safe to say that AirTran won't be making a similar calendar.

I did see a cute porter on Amtrak. Cute in the face, at least, though she seemed a bit of a tomboy. I'm pretty sure she was a lesbian.
