And of course this doesn't mention the arepera down the street where five generations of one family hve been providing good food at reasonable prices for decades, and is now losing enough of its customer base to a subsidized operation that can just about give the food away to put it out of business.

And the "Socialist Arepera" is, according to some bloggers, having supply problems, running at pretty inconsistent hours, and pissing its customers off. So maybe it'll go out of business as well, and no one gets arepas.
