I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7. It won't allow upload of any new software. Won't allow viewing of directory trees in Windows Explorer.

Do I:

1. Kill it with an axe?

2. Burn it with gasoline?

3. Throw it from a moving train?

4. Upgrade to Windows XP?

When trying to install any software, W7 says: "You do not have Administrator rights."

I AM the Administrator. I'm logged in as Administrator, there is no one else using that computer.

Windows Explorer will not allow going back "up" a directory.

CD rips all go into a single Album, from multiple CDs from multiple bands.

These are just the problems I've found in the first 1 hour.

Too many geeks spoiled the puter.
