3 wildfires burning in my province.

One outside Kamloops another at Osoyoos and another at Fraser Lake.

Ground so dry, that a spark from a train on tracks started one.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

And here in So Cal, the weather has been UNUSUALLY cool and damp. They're predicting an unheard-of rainstorm Thursday, with the possibility of more rain to come five days later. Incredible. It's like the Arctic's weather slipped down here, and southern weather wandered up there.

Global climate shift, hon. Weather patterns are going to be wildly unpredicatable. BC ... and EVERYONE ... had better learn to manage forests better, and save water underground, and prepare for historic drought, floods, hurricanes, or blizzards. You just never know what's coming next.

I know Sig. We've got some rain coming in. It's raining right now where I am and so that will give some relief. Suppose to rain the rest of the week.

Spring last week when I talked to friends in Alberta was still trying to arrive. They are up in Edmonton.

So far no more in BC but a massive wildfire burning in northern Alberta outside a town called High Level. The town is on evac notice.

Meanwhile snow season is still going on in Colorado this year. They got their latest May snow yesterday going back for a 44 year stretch. Hubby was cold last night at work...Usually we are in the 90's by now.

Farmers are just now starting to disk the fields. At this rate they'll be harvesting in December. Gran said this year is just like '45, no one got crops out until JUNE.

It's a weird year down here...
