As a veteran I cannot imagine the thought process that sees a government pay a maximum of $360K to soldiers wounded or killed in combat and 10 million to a convicted murderer of soldiers.

The politicians and legal system in this country are seriously f**ked up.

Just saw this. While I see this as tragic, it appears this has nothing to do with giving this guy money just for the hell of it, and everything to do with the rule of law. Sometimes the criminal goes free, and at time they receive compensation for having their rights violated.
