"So you boned her yet?" Jule asked Mal.

"I hate you," Mal said. It had been 4 days since their bet.

"If you didn't then I'm not trying hard enough," Jule stated. "What do you have to lose?"

"Aside from my dignity and self-respect?" Mal asked.

"Oh, grow a fucking pair, Jesus Christ," Jule walked out of the room.

"What was that about?" Inara asked as she walked in.

"How long were you there?" Mal asked slightly worried.

"I just heard Jule yelling then," Inara answered. "Why what was it about?"

"I can't explain."

"Hey, Jule, can I talk to you?" Leo asked as Jule walked past.

"Yeah, sure, why?" Jule answered.

"There's something I need to tell you," Leo said.

"What?"

"Why can't you tell me?" Inara asked.

"It's complicated," Mal answered.

"Alright, then I need to tell you something," Inara said.

"What?"

"It's about why I didn't go back to the training house-" Inara began.

"Wait, I need to tell you something first," Mal sighed.

"I'm pregnant," Leo stated.

"Awesome!" Jule said. "That's wonderful."

"What-you mean - you're happy..." Leo spluttered.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?"

"I never thought you'd be this excited," Leo stated.

"Why not?" Jule hugged his wife. "We're having a baby!"

"Well that's fan-bloody-tastic," Jayne muttered as he walked past.

"What was that, Jayne?" Leo asked.

"Mazal tov," Jayne said.

Jule shook his head.

The next day....

Jule walked down the stairs onto the catwalks above the cargo bay. He turned when he saw Mal and Inara kissing in the door to her shuttle. "Huh," he muttered.

Mal Had his trenchcoat draped over his shoulder as turned and stumbled down the stairs. He walked towards Jule with a massive smile on his face.

"Good night?" Jule asked as Mal got next to him and stopped.

"You were right," Mal conceded. "Oh so right."

"I can only imagine," Jule stated.

"I don't have to," Mal turned and waved to Inara.

"I can still hear you," Inara stated as she waved back.

"That's great, sweetie," Mal called back. Inara shook her head as Mal turned back to Jule.

"That's great, but, uh, we did have an agreement," Jule said.

Mal handed him the money and smiled, "So, worth it." He started walking away. "Oh, sooo worth it!"

Jule tuned to look at Inara who mouthed "thank you" before walking inside.
