First SIGNYM, you start with an assumption. An incorrect one at that; typical.

Next line; is it some sort of code because I don’t get it?

Third line; you show how morons like yourself conflate one opinion into a complete commitment to a wacky philosophy that represents only a very few at best. Wacky philosophy’s that tend to mirror the wacky shit you preach.

I never once pushed any philosophy on you, you are free to think what you want you can follow whatever philosopher you like, read which book you please, you have Freedom of Speech in America and you can vote for whatever person you wish

I might have sometimes pushed facts as 'Factual' for example FACT water is wet... FACT Fire burns it is hot ...FACT a long time ago some guy named Jenner did a crazy experiment he injected Cow-Pox into people understanding that people who already had 'Cow Pox' would be resistant to smallpox in doing so he led medical science on a path that saved many many lives ... FACT space is a void it is cold and almost a perfect vacuum, in Space if you go near the Sun and you will get roasted not by 'Fire' but by the Sun's electro magnetic radiation.
Another FACT some dude with a penis who puts on a dress is not a woman, a crazy female who chopped of her breasts is not a man. FACT The President Little Bush Junior was a War Mongering NeoCon, Leftists following the path of Bush might not be wise ... FACT there was a rebel uprising of Sorts in Syria but it was hijacked by terrorist, when Assad was fighting these people he fought islamist jihadi terrorists many of which poured into Syria from foreign countries.
FACTS Manufacturing and Economic power has been slowly shifting to China these past 20+ years, Biden is increasing the debt, making the US Dollar weaker and spending like crazy.

As for politics this is just my opinion,
Sometimes the Neo-Left can not help but score idenity politics points becuase for some of them ...The End Will Justify the Means?
I do think the stage show is mostly controlled, then Yoga Moms and People protesting Votes, Q-Anons and Patriot types all stomr the building ... but I sometimes wonder if its just two sides pushing against each other ... the Unstoppable Force vs the Immovable Object but eventually one side gives

If a monster is unleashed it might not go back to sleep, genie not going back into the bottle

A twitter blog tumblr drama post once asked....
'Do you think it's upsetting to be Curtis Yarvin? You spend years of your life building a political philosophy to serve as the intellectual foundation of a new reactionary movement and then nrx goes mainstream by morphing into the alt-right, discarding all of your work, and becoming the shittiest reactionary movement in decades. And despite all that you STILL get protested whenever you attend CS conferences. '
...

and yet he goes against everything America stood for in its revolution
He wants a monarchy?

The 21st century is here. It’s new, but it’s old—as ever. A paleoreactionary poet spoke of “gyres”

Just as I came to Alec Baldwin's defense after discovering his stance on MeToo and "Believe All Women" when that was all the rage among Democrats trying to make sure that Kavanaugh wasn't going to make it in the Supreme Court, I've got to defend Ted on this one.

Ted and I see eye to eye on almost nothing, but aside from the few times he was trying to call me a racist for using the OK symbol after Leftists tried to make it a symbol of racism, he has come out against Democrats pitting the races against each other before.

Just like when Alec Baldwin tweeted the following...

Quote:

“Is it possible to support survivors of pedophilia and sexual assault/abuse and also believe that Woody Allen is innocent? I think so. The intention is not to dismiss or ignore such complaints. But accusing people of such crimes should be treated carefully. On behalf of the victims, as well.”

... Ted finally understands what CRT is and he realizes that its not racist to be against CRT, despite what his Legacy Media tells him every day.

Seriously, Ted... If Democrats took their racism out of everything they've said and done in the last decade moving forward, I think you'll find a lot of people getting back on board.

But you let the fucking looney toons like Reaverfan and Wishy run the party since Obama was elected and now the inmates are running the asylum.

Good for you. Glad to hear your stance on this.

Actually. I wsa going to ASK you- what is it about CRT that seems wrong? Because I've tried to wrap my head around CRT, read several definitions, and it still doesn't make sense to me. What is your understanding of CRT, and what is your objection?

I'm not going to pretend to remember Ted saying that specifically. Maybe he did. A lot of opinions from Second, Ted, Wishy and Cap'n Crunch kind of gel together in my mind over time and overlap.

My point here is, don't meet a post like this with aggression.

A thread like this coming from Ted is important. I know it's easy to think of what remains of the RWED is just our own little micro-microcosm of personalities clashing, but if Ted is "out" on CRT that probably has much larger Real World implications than you're imagining it does (assuming you even imagined this).

And like Sigs said, I would like for Ted to elaborate on why he now stands against CRT.

Please Ted. Do go on. Your thread is neutral ground.

I think teaching about slavery in school has become a necessity. However critical race theory is structured in such a way it teaches hate white America not slavery. It doesn’t take into account it was never about racism (color) but instead about economics.

Although it is difficult to pinpoint the exact year that slavery began, historians can trace the roots of slavery back roughly 11,000 years. It is difficult to track because its origins predate historical recording and the written word. Due to the sociological makeup of the groups, we know that slavery wasn’t a part of hunter-gatherer societies, so the first identifiable evidence of slavery comes from Hammurabi out of Mesopotamia. A time when communities began to emerge. People began to settle and farm the land.

Sumeria is still thought to be the birthplace of slavery, which grew out of Sumer into Greece and other parts of ancient Mesopotamia. Slavery in ancient times typically came about as a result of debt, birth into a slave family, child abandonment, war, or as a punishment for crime.

European slaves became wildly popular throughout Muslim countries, marking the true beginning of the global slave trade.

Throughout this period in history, Vikings were also taking slaves across Europe, concentrating heavily on The British Isles. Additionally, Spain and Portugal were in an almost constant state of Holy War between Muslims and Christians, leading to many women and children being taken into slavery in the name of God or Allah.

Throughout the Middle Ages slavery was also taking root in Asia as Islamic invasions of India resulted in the enslavement of hundreds of thousands of Indians. One historical record shows that in the year 1001 the armies of Mahmud of Ghazna conquered Peshawar and Waihand, capturing and enslaving roughly 100,000 children and young people.

During this same time period in China, documents show that royals from the Tang Dynasty purchased many European and Jewish slaves. The soldiers and pirates who serve the Tang Dynasty also took countless slaves in raids on Korea, Turkey, Persia and Indonesia as well as thousands of slaves taken from indigenous Aboriginal tribes.

Research from the Global Slavery Index shows that North Korea, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, India, and Qatar have the highest percentage of slavery among their population. In North Korea roughly 4.37% of the population is enslaved, most of these by the North Korean government who force them into slavery, even selling them to work abroad in Russia, China and even the United States? In India, modern day slavery often involves debt bondage, where individuals are forced into to slavery to pay off debt, either their own or from previous generations.

This is just some of what should be taught so people can put slavery into its proper context. Not the condensed version the makes America (white people), out to be the stand alone culture, race, to practice it. All races, all cultures, all faiths sanctioned and partook in slavery. And most slaves throughout history may have been white?

I was taught about slavery in junior high and HS, the 60s, when it was all the fashion to teach about African Kingdoms. I learned, for example, that Timbuktu is NOT some mythical place far off the ends of the earth, but was the actual center of a kingdom in what is now Mali.

Did they STOP teaching about slavery since then?

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Quote:

Racism definitely comes into play. In order to do what they did, slave traders and owners had to think of 'negroes' as an inferior humans, or maybe not even humans. Whole treatises and categories of thinking were devoted to describing how inferior slaves were. It was even enshrined in the Constitution, when slaves were not counted a fully human beings.

BTW there was also a lot of I believe British slave trade in and out of S America at the time, and Indians and Asians (mostly Chinese) were also subject to the same stereotypes and 'thinking'.

I do hope that you realize that if this were Twitter and not the RWED, people would be calling for your head now.

I'm glad that you finally figured out that you can be against the current Narrative and not be racist at the same time.

Critical race theory is not new or particularly novel but it has, all of a sudden, become a hot-button issue for conservatives -- thanks in large part to Fox News' decision to put it front and center in their daily programming.

For the record, here's what critical race theory actually is -- courtesy of Education Week:

"Critical race theory is an academic concept that is more than 40 years old. The core idea is that race is a social construct, and that racism is not merely the product of individual bias or prejudice, but also something embedded in legal systems and policies. ... A good example is when, in the 1930s, government officials literally drew lines around areas deemed poor financial risks, often explicitly due to the racial composition of inhabitants. Banks subsequently refused to offer mortgages to Black people in those areas."

And here's another helpful explainer via Brookings:

"CRT does not attribute racism to white people as individuals or even to entire groups of people. Simply put, critical race theory states that U.S. social institutions (e.g., the criminal justice system, education system, labor market, housing market, and healthcare system) are laced with racism embedded in laws, regulations, rules, and procedures that lead to differential outcomes by race."

https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/02/politics/2024-election-election-fraud-t
rump/index.html

That is all very theoretical. How about in practice? When the most lethal storm in U.S. history hit Galveston, Texas, in 1900, as Al Roker describes it in his book “The Storm of the Century,” “white soldiers forced Black men at gunpoint to the front lines of the most horrifying labor that any city could ever face,” which included loading hundreds of corpses onto a barge to be dumped at sea. After the Great Okeechobee Hurricane struck southern Florida, in 1928, three-fourths of those killed were migrant agricultural workers, most of them Black. Local officials conscripted the survivors to bury the dead in mass graves — pine coffins were primarily reserved for white victims — and, when some refused, they were denied food, or shot dead.

White students at Coosa High School in Georgia waved the Confederate flag and hurled racial slurs leading up to homecoming. The students with the Confederate flag did not face repercussions. School administrators suspended several students of color who were protesting. Two white students participating in the Friday protest were not suspended, even though they claimed to be as disruptive as the Black students.

It is VERY American to insist there is no racism in middle of an event that is all racism and then the American gets very upset/angry when someone contradicts the American who angrily insists something that is false is actually true. Americans hate to be contradicted, especially when the American is full of nonsense and foolishness and excessively proud.

Slavery has existed for roughly 11,000 years. Whites enslaving whites, black enslaving black, Asians enslaving Asians and so on. For thousands of year’s slavery was not about racism. That needs to be taught to put slavery into context. Racism is a modern creation. It's nothing more than a term to explain the dislike between blacks and whites in this country that developed due to slavery.

Your theory doesn’t work until explaining what slavery in America morphed into. And if you read my post about slavery being about economics you’ll see it doesn’t deny that racism exists today comrade.

Have a lot of Blacks in Russia do you?

It is VERY American to insist there is no racism in middle of an event that is all racism and then the American gets very upset/angry when someone contradicts the American who angrily insists something that is false is actually true. Americans hate to be contradicted, especially when the American is full of nonsense and foolishness and excessively proud.

Slavery isn't always about race, although race does make it a much easier pill to swallow for some people than others when the other people look so much different to them.

What slavery IS, is always about one group of people believing that they are superior to the other group. That can come in many forms. The haves vs. the have nots. Religious beliefs. Cultured vs. uncultured. etc.

There is a whole lot of REAL slavery going on around the world right now. Right now.

And what we see happening to the American Worker today is what I feel has become the perfect form of Slavery. Slavery without the slaves even being aware that they really are being enslaved. When you're living paycheck to paycheck either because your job(s) doesn't provide enough to do otherwise, or you made and continue to make horrible financial decisions that never allow you to get out from underneath the debt, and you and everybody else you are responsible for are completely dependent on your employer and the horrible job(s) you punch in and punch out every day just to continue eeking out an existence, it's not all that far off from slavery.

Sure... you might not be getting physically whipped and your employer can't point a gun at your head if you start working too slow, but the soul crushing emotional toll of it all can just suck the humanity right out of you over time. Taking shit all day from the bosses. Taking shit all day from the entitled customers. Coming home and arguing with your spouse because you're behind on the bills another month. Unhappy job. Unhappy home. Unhappy everything.

Oh well... Time to devour a bag of Doritos and watch some Netflix.

“Critical Race Theory” has become a 21st-century version of Republicans’ Willie Horton appeal—and it’s working.

Critical Race Theory is not taught in Virginia public schools, but it became the catchall phrase that drove the governor’s race after McAuliffe said, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what to teach.” The gaffe precipitated the Democrat’s slide in the polls. “Critical Race Theory has become the laundry basket that holds everything that especially suburban white parents have become frustrated about,” says Quentin Kidd, a political scientist at Christopher Newport University in Virginia.

While critical race theory is only taught in grad schools and law schools, parents are concerned about how schools are teaching history. Democrats need to take account of these attitudes.

Youngkin demonstrated that Trumpism with a smile can swing enough suburban voters back into the Republican fold to make a statewide victory for the GOP in Virginia a reality. He did it by highlighting the grievances of parents frustrated by the restrictions forced by the pandemic and a belief that their kids had become political pawns in an ideological battle over racial equity initiatives launched after the horrific murder of George Floyd last year.

If K-12 teachers were teaching "critical race theory" that wouldn't be so bad, but they're not. They're teaching some conflated version of CRT, BLM, SJW, and anti- white racism.

Quote:

Journey to Justice: A Critical Race Theory Primer “includes articles, essays, lesson plans, an annotated bibliography and a COMloquium conversation that addresses and examines the perils of teaching critical race theory from kindergarten to college settings,” according to Ms. Magazine. The Karson Institute for Race, Peace & Social Justice at the Jesuit Catholic university in Baltimore helped develop the lesson plan.

The institute is led by a Professor Karsonya Whitehead (right), an advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement. She previously taught a class at Loyola about the success of BLM in using social media for its political goals.

The guide is part political activism guide and part curriculum.

It's interesting, every few decades or so, teaching "respect" for black culture comes into fashion. It was even given a nod in Airplane (the movie. "I speak jive")

Lately, the fashion has been to diss "white culture". Such as that infamous display at the Smithsonian that rational thought, hard work, punctuality, and math are "white"

https://www.newsweek.com/smithsonian-race-guidelines-rational-thinking
-hard-work-are-white-values-1518333

But no matter how many waves of teaching "black pride" come and go, I think it's time that to admit that "black culture", as portrayed, is DYSFUNCTIONAL, especially for blacks. How does one advance by being resentful, lazy, stupid, drug-addled, and consumerist? Isn't that, like, a recipe for failure?

True, there still is racism in the USA, and you sometimes have to be twice as good to get half as far (unless you're a diversity hire) but isn't making progress better than going backwards?

And that's what blacks have been doing, as a whole: going backwards.

If they truly believe they live in a hostile culture, they should start gathering their resources, resolve, and education and make their way forward, instead of whining and depending on the hostile culture to give them freebies.

You're the one who's going to have to prove to everybody that they're not teaching anti-white hatred in schools, and that's going to be a really tall order for you since there are videos all over YouTube, TikTok, Bitchute, DailyMotion and Vimeo proving otherwise.

Go fetch. You couldn't possibly put a search in any one of those sites and not trip over them.

How Journalism Abandoned the Working Class

What explains the media's obsession with race and power? It has very little to do with social justice and everything to do with class.

Quote:

If you read this newsletter you are acutely aware of the transformation of the mainstream media over the last decade and, especially, over the past couple of years. But few have offered a fully satisfying answer to the question of why.

Why is it, for example, that between 2013 and 2019, the frequency of the words “white” and “racial privilege” exploded by 1,200 percent in The New York Times and by 1,500 percent in The Washington Post? Why was the term “white supremacy” used 2,400 times by National Public Radio in 2020?

What changed? Why was there suddenly a relentless focus on race and power? And who—or what—was driving it?

At last those questions have been answered with unusual clarity by Batya Ungar-Sargon in her new book “Bad News: How Woke Media is Undermining Democracy.”

It should be noted that while, at least in most states, there is no state-sanctioned hatred and racism directly attributable to a curriculum by name, this is only so people like Second can tell anybody who has a problem with what their kids are being taught in school that they're making things up, which doesn't work anymore since parents nationwide have seen it with their own eyes during remote learning on lockdown.

It's just a way for them to try and hide the facts and give themselves deniability while children are being brainwashed. (And make no mistake, telling 3 and 4 year olds in preschool that they aren't really boys and girls is brainwashing).

Whether teachers are teaching white kids to hate themselves or the false history they're being told, or black kids that they deserve the sun and the moon because how much they're being oppressed, or they're being confused about sex at an age where no adult should even be talking to kids about sex, these people who have graduated Marxist college curriculum are predators.

Remove CRT? Sure... in any local case where they were stupid enough to put that name on it. Absolutely.

But that's not the point here. Remove the teachers. Remove the poisonous rhetoric in the classroom discussion and in the textbooks.

The Woke are a church. They are a cult. Their ideology has just as much a place in our school system as Creationism does.

Over 1 in 5 American adults in 2021 are functionally illierate.

Let's drop all of this hate bullshit and try to at least make sure that our adults can read. That shouldn't be too much to ask from the government of a world superpower.

Yeah. The last one was fired. It wasn't for the video though. Her tweets were borderline pedophilia. One of them was asking any lawyers out there if there was some sort of release forms so she could talk to her students about "kink" away from their parents. Her 3 to 5 year old students.
