I'm surprised it took so long for anyone to notice...
Dunno if I mentioned the incident in which a certain company pawned off a decommissioned destroyer on Greece at a loss in order to get RID of it before the EPA condemned the dock it was polluting as a biohazard (and the damn thing almost sank as they hauled it off) - but I have a few connections with former service personnel in charge of disposing of surplus military equipment, so I kind of have an ear to the ground on stuff like this, okay ?

You know who was the LAST folks to know about this ?
Them motherfucking "intelligence" people we hand billions of dollars and unchecked power with no accountability.
As usual, they're so busy playing their stupid little games they're unwilling or unable to do their proper job.

As far as why they might want/need one - three guesses who supplies a damn lot of Chinas petroleum, and I am SURE you can figure it out from there.

Carriers are stupid though, their day has come and gone, so this is more ego pump than actual readiness.
