Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Shit, shit, shit! That's one place I thnk we should be doing everything (logical, and within limits) to ENCOURAGE the use of alternative-energy sources. And it, along with so many other important things, will suffer for all the budget cuts insisted on. Ironice that ALL those budget cuts put together (and the ones no doubt to come) won't make more than a dent in the deficit and will harm so many (not to mention the country), while a small increase in taxes for those who can MORE than afford it would make a much more sensible dent.
