Just discovered the works of Jambe Davdar, thanks to numerous postings around the Net about his latest creation, Star Wars Begins, thus completing his trilogy that began in 2006 with Returning to Jedi.

Fans can be obsessive, Star Wars fans may be the most obsessive and Jambe Davdar may well be the most obsessive of them all. He has just released his third feature-length documentary/commentary chronicling the original trilogy of George Lucas’ beloved Star Wars and it’s called “Star Wars Begins“. Like his two previous documentaries, Returning To Jedi and Building Empire, Star Wars Begins is an unofficial look at the creation of the classic movie and features tons of deleted scenes, alternate takes and different angles, bloopers, original set audio recordings, and an insane amount of commentary from cast and crew, culled from probably every documentary, interview and commentary track ever made about Star Wars.

Star Wars Begins is in 14 parts

Building Empire is in 24 parts

Returning to Jedi is in 23 parts

I simply downloaded all the parts to my hard drive, and load 'em up in VLC Player.

LWAVES

I almost missed this thread and had forgotten that the first one was still due. Thanks for the reminder CLJ. Much appreciated.

Now I just gotta find a decent quality version to go with my other two and I'm set.

These are truly brilliant documentaries and I look forward to seeing the first one. Highly recommended to any SW fan however big or small.
