Hello,

I am glad to see there are no riots or death threats in connection to this (thus far.) I hope those in opposition to the imagery continue to limit their anger to words. One does wish they'd be more angry about the situation that inspired the imagery, but perhaps they feel more power over a cartoonist than they do over organized crime.

I hope you don't mind if "I" reply, they must be "thin skined" if a cartoon offened them. It's a holiday weekend, most people are doing other things, I had to work today.

When you're on the the right, you get a thicker skin. It's proof we're better than you. We've been getting slapped around by your friends in the print and TV media for decades.....and you're stupid.

Hello,

Well, I can't deny the evidence of my own eyes. Clearly you represent an abused segment of the population who has grown immune to the kinds of anger and resentment that others suffer from.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Cartoonists are like stand-up comedians and humorists; they can get away with controversial stuff others cannot.

It's stupid, in my opinion; the violence is real, this doesn't even make fun of it, to me, it points out the problem. I got no problem with it. He says about half the comments are from people who recognize the veracity of the cartoon and agree "yeah, that's kinda how it is".

Flags are as bad as religion, to me; people get all head up about them rather than the serious subjects...

Hello,

Recent memory begs to differ. I'm glad that THIS cartoonist isn't in danger.

They're are also relices of a by-gone era. Talk radio and the Drudge Report are the 21st century place for info, MSNBC sucks.
