And here I thought President Obama was the arch-nemesis of the Tea Party. Looks like tea party- and Sarah Palin-endorsed candidate Vaughn Ward has been cribbing whole lines of his speeches from Obama's 2004 Democratic National Convention speech.

This comes on the heels of him seeming to not have any idea what he was talking about with regards to Puerto Rico being "another country", then stating that he didn't care what it was, "it doesn't matter" - all during a debate with his opponent Raul Labrador (good band name!), who was born in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico (and who IS a U.S. citizen, I'm sure to the chagrin of Vaughn Ward).

I guess when you've been made to look that dumb by your opponent, maybe stealing lines from someone who's known as a great speaker might seem like the smart move. Until the tape surfaces, of course.
